we have just returned from a 2 night stay in apartment 4 and it was a fabulous place to stay, we will be returning to the area again and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Such a warm welcome from Neil and such a beautiful, comfortable home.

We visit Lincoln a couple of times a year and have always struggled to find a decent place to stay. Well we have found it and this is more than decent! This is 5 star! The apartment was so beautifully designed and everything was top quality. It was immaculately clean and all the extra touches were so appreciated. The bed and bedding were just so comfortable, so much so I admit we looked the label of the sheets to see where we could buy them! It was also so quiet and peaceful, we slept so well.
Neil was a lovely guy and communicated impeccably before hand and during our stay, even to the extend of telling us about the history of the place and showing us round the building and some of the other apartments which were all equally fantastic. He left extra touches of flowers, tea, coffee, milk, croissants with butter and a selections of jams and crisps. All very much appreciated. If you are visiting Lincoln I would 100% recommend these apartments. We will be back for sure and look forward to it x

Best place to stay in Lincoln

This was our second visit to the Dower House Apartments.  Everything was spot on from the moment I booked direct with the owner Neil.  The accommodation was reassuring great as it was on our first visit.  We appreciated the extra touches of fresh flowers, croissants and cake.  Ideally located to visit Lincoln and tour around.  Peaceful location with stunning views of Lincoln and the gardens.  We would highly recommend The Dower House Apartments.

Wonderful second visit

I stayed for five nights in Apartment 3 in connection with a visit to Lincoln. Bottom line: this is one of the best accommodations I have ever had in any country in which I have traveled. Although the Dower House is located in a very quiet and lovely village (Canwick), it is  less than 5 minutes from the center of Lincoln by car. Apartment 3 had a large, well-equipped kitchen, an extremely comfortable lounge, a very comfortable bed in a spacious bedroom with tons of closet space/drawers, and a toilet that was large and spotless. There is not one thing I can think to suggest to improve it. The owner, Neil, has given careful thought to everyhing. He  lives at the property and makes it clear that he wil do anything to make sure you have a great stay. There is plenty of parking provided on the grounds. There is a lovely garden.

You could not possible ask for a better place. It gets a 10/10 in my book!

An Absolutely Perfect Accommodation

Stayed 2 nights in apartment 3 whilst helping son and family relocated from abroad to Waddington nearby.
This apartment was within a beautifully restored old house with delightful gardens and  dedicated parking.  Our apartment had a view of the Cathedral from the lounge window.
The apartment was very spacious and well appointed with everything we needed for our stay. Neil has thought of everything for guests, from a supply of tea,coffee, milk, croissants, preserves and cake. The kitchen was well equipped if you did want to cook. The quality of everything provided was summed up by GHD hair straighteners and hairdryer in the bedroom.
Overall a wonderful place to stay if you want to be close to Lincoln but enjoy peace, quiet and luxury.

Superb accommodation

Where do I start? 
This is one of the very best places we have ever stayed in! Perfect in every way.
Stunning apartment (3), beautifully decorated and furnished, fully equipped, personal touches everywhere including fresh flowers and goodies on arrival. 
Neil gave us such a warm welcome and clearly nothing is ever too much trouble. 
Great parking on site. 
So good we are already planning a return trip!

We’ve just got back from our 3rd visit to the lovely Dower house apartments.
The apartments are beautifully furnished, well equipped,  spacious and very comfortable,  it’s a pleasure to stay here. 
We’ll be visiting again in the future and look forward to meeting hosts again.

Great apartments.

Stayed here for 2 nights whilst visiting relatives in the area.  Couldn't have chosen a better place.  Neil should be congratulated on the amazing job he has done in renovating this beautiful old building.  We stayed in Apartment 4, but we also had a look around Apartment 3, both were finished to the highest standard.  The kitchen was better equipped than our one at home.  We were out during the day, but it was lovely to return to such elegant luxury in the evening. Comfy bed, spacious shower. We will definitely return.

Elegant luxury

Wonderful stay in such stylish and comfortable apartments. Neil was a lovely host and obviously spends a lot of time and effort making the house a lovely place to stay. The apartments are situated about a 30 minute walk or 10 minute drive from the castle. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back!

Absolutely wonderful stay in beautiful apartment 4.

What a wonderful place.  The Apartment (no 3) was so beautiful and luxurious yet still practical.  Neil could not have been more helpful when we got ourselves in a mess with the booking.  Fantastic customer service.  We had a really relaxing time.
