Myself and my daughter recently stayed for a weekend at the Horse Market B&B. Everything was perfect! Central location, stunning and comfortable accommodation and a superb host, who made us feel right at home. Thank you so much Amorelle. It was the perfect place to stay, in the pretty town of Kirby Lonsdale.

Lovely stay

So we were stranded in Kirby Lonsdale as I flattened my car battery, so we needed a place to stay. Honestly, the happiest stranded motorist.
Found this beautiful place, situated in a gorgeous part of the town, and the building is to die for. 
Amorelle could not have been more helpful despite us putting her somewhat on the spot- although you would never have known! 
The room was simply beautiful, from the decor, to the bathroom, the quality was simply superlative.
A wonderful evening in a simply beautiful setting. Building, design, room, host .... just FANTASTIC!

Fab, amazing, simply beautiful ... Amorelle just wonderful

The perfect place if you are seeking stylish comfort and a warm welcome. The old Horse Market street is a fine example of the town’s architecture, and has the added benefit of being quiet, while only minutes from the town centre. 
A tasteful decor, little touches like tea/coffee-making facilities, the excellent breakfast arrangement only a few steps from the B&B,.. such features make it an excellent choice. 
No car-parking available, but again, public car-parks are only 5 minutes away- and give one the opportunity to appreciate the high street in any case.

Perfect stay

We stayed in the loft room whilst at Horse Market B&B. The room is perfect, a real luxury room - from the soft, fluffy carpet under your feet to the heavenly, comfortable bed. The decor is just lovely and you can really tell that Amorelle wants everything to be perfect for her guests. There are soft greys on the walls, and crisp clean white sheets. There's a fantastic dressing area tucked around the corner, and I loved the beautiful display cabinet with tasteful trinkets and shells - definitely stealing that idea for myself! The bathroom deserves a paragraph for itself really! I spent more time in that shower than I care to admit. If you're like me and you book a room based on how good the bathroom looks then just go ahead and book now. So long as I have a roll top bath I'm happy and this one really didn't disappoint. I bet on a clear night you can see stars from the tub! I guess I'll have to book again to find out...! The location itself is a great base for exploring the Lakes. There are cute little cafes and pubs a minutes walk away - everything you need. Amorelle is a lovely host. She'll endeavour to help you with whatever you need during your stay. She's warm and kind and very helpful! Nothing's a bother... x

Just perfect!

my friend and i stayed for chilled out break away from the men and the kids for 3 nights during the very hot spell in july. kirky has everything you could possible want without the aggro but still has enough atmosphere to stimulate. the village is so small and compact that it is totally hassle free getting about. ive read previous comments about parking and i think its a tad unfair as its seriously small and i parked my car fine by the church or up a lane just a few steps round the corner. there is parking available in the streets from 6pm to 8am so for those who retire to bed early and rise early this should eleviate the issue. anyway that said the host more than makes up for that tiny issue. her place is stunning a hidden gem. it is seriously 5 star luxury with a top notch finish. the host is a lovely lady whome welcomes you into her home along side her very gentile dog nala offering up tea and home made cake if you so wish. we definately be returning.....oh and even her front step is comfy my friend says!!
