Stayed for 2 nights when visiting the Westmorland show.  A warm welcome, lovely cosy room and first class breakfast.  What more could you ask for.  Kirky Lonsdale is a quaint place to visit, its like going back in time !!

Beautiful bed and breakfast 

A really good B&B, right in the centre of Kirkby Lonsdale. Bill & Sue our hosts made us feel very welcome and produced a very good cooked breakfast. Provide gluten free options. There a great restaurant right next door “Platos”.
The car park is about 400 yards from B&B, the entrance is very tight.

Really felt like home

lovely welcome to this hidden gem.  whilst it is in the middle to Kirby Lonsdale you wouldn't know that once you step inside.  the accommodation was excellent as was the breakfast. the centre of Kirby Lonsdale is on the doorstep with all its restaurants and bars. a bonus is the guaranteed parking space which is at a premium in this busy little town.

We've stayed at the Blue Pig several times now, we love it and never want to leave.  Sue and Bill are the most welcoming and friendly hosts you could wish for, nothing is too much trouble.  Their breakfast is the best we've had anywhere, superb.  They use local produce, in fact we call at the local butchers and stock up on sausages and meat before we head home.  We stay in the double room and it has everything you need and a more than adequate shower room.
Clean, comfortable, everything you need for a relaxing break.
A big thank you to Sue and Bill for another brilliant weekend.

Home from Home

Had a night away at this lovely little place. Loved its position in Kirkby Lonsdale, handy for everything. Really friendly owners who were very helpful with suggestions for places to eat. Fantastic breakfast and nothing was too much trouble - the free parking provided was very useful. Thanks.

Great little place

Stayed her for just one night whilst on a trip around the lakes, wish we had booked for longer !! Lovely B & B, hosts were great and very knowledgeable about the area, breakfast was fab. It’s just what a great bed and breakfast should be. Will definitely be back and would recommend !!

Fantastic B & B

 There was a very friendly and warm welcome from the owners Bill and Sue who provided detailed guidance to the free parking space which is definitely a bonus. The room and bathroom were spotless. The breakfast was plentiful and served piping hot. The location is fantastic in the centre with lovely walks and the beautiful Ruskins View just around the corner. We couldn’t fault our stay and would definitely recommend this lovely, cosy B & B to anyone thinking of staying over in Kirkby Lonsdale. Thank you so much for welcoming us into your home.
 

Beautiful little B & B with a warm welcome!

Really excellent B&B in the middle of Kirby Lonsdale - clean and comfortable - and a really first rate freshly cooked breakfast with lots of choice and quality ingredients.  Also has dedicated parking space for guests - a real find !  unfortunately the owners are selling up and it is unlikely to remain a B&B
