We had the best time ever the whole lodge is beautiful and has everything you can want! 24 of us went for my sisters hen and loved every minute of our stay. 5* recommend to anyone looking to stay in Chester. The lodge was spotlessly clean and the garden was kept lovely we were able to hire hot tubs for the weekend also. 

Beautiful lodge

The Baytree Bed and Breakfast was such a good place to stay. Great for big groups as had so many rooms and bed for 20 of us! The hot tubs where a highlight of our stay in the lovely garden. We were lucky with the weather and felt like we were on holiday. 

Wonderful hen do experience

Just returned from a weekend away at Baytree Lodge for a friends Hen do with 24 girls which we booked through Airbnb . The b&b was fantastic, it has a large kitchen/ dinning area which was perfect for us to all have food and drinks together. All the bedrooms and bathrooms were lovely and clean with everything you would need including tea/ coffee, hairdryers, irons etc and look like they have been recently renovated. Tom was a great host and was always available by phone if we needed anything. He even arranged hot tubs for us to hire before we checked in, which was a fantastic addition to the already beautiful garden. The location was perfect too, it was really close to the city centre. Parking was great, we were able to fit 5 cars on the driveway and parking was also available on the road for free.  Would definitely stay here again- worth every penny. Thank you Tom! 

Amazing Hen weekend at Baytree!!

Came here for my hen do and had the best weekend ever, the bnb is spacious, clean and comfortable and beautifully decorated. It’s close to Chester city centre and has everything you could need. Would deffo recommend and can’t wait to stay again!thanks for a lovely stay.

Wonderful Stay

The house is beautiful and gave us everything and more that we needed to help celebrate my friends hen party! 

All the rooms are well decorated and also had everything you could possibly need whilst still having a lot of space, there was 17 of us in total and no one felt on top of each other specially when getting ready! Each room had their own key with a front door key which helped when people wanted to return at different times. 

The kitchen was also well stocked and left a lot of us with kitchen envy as we left yesterday! We were all surprised with the outside space and enjoyed the sunshine throughout the weekend in the garden we said the pictures we had seen before definitely don’t do the property justice. 

I would highly recommend and will also bare in mind if we have a similar event in the future!

I would also recommend booking directly with Tom, he was great throughout the booking process and greeted us when we arrived to run through everything and provided a couple of bottles of Prosecco which were greatly received as we got ready for everyone to arrive!

Hen Party Hire of whole house!

A brilliant weekend, we booked this out for 16 for a hen, very spacious. Close to Chester, nice and clean lovely garden area that’s a sun trap in the evening. The host is also great and didn’t get annoyed with my many messages on the run up ask the slightest thing any of the hens wanted to know. Everything you need in the kitchen, we had a chef come in and make a 3 course meal for 16 and he had no complaints with the kitchen. 
Would recommend to anyone wanting a weekend away in a large group for a birthday or a he . Our hen was very pleased with the place and location.

What a lovely house to stay in . Went with family and friends it was ideal a lovely garden to sit in , near to the town and train station walk or taxi .The rooms were lovely
 Hoole is a lovely little town with everything you need.

Amazing weekend stay.

Absolutely stunning place, perfect for family get togethers. 16 of us and Tom couldn’t have done more to accommodate, especially when it came to the ’older’ generation. 
The Garden is outstanding, we loved sitting outside together, it was so relaxing. 
The location is ideal, close to town for the those who want a night ‘out out’ but other shops, pubs and places to eat within walking distance of the lodge. 
If you book to stay here, I’m sure you will not be disappointed!

Perfect getaway

We recently stayed at Baytree Lodge and had an amazing time, the place is fantastically fitted out with modern styling and facilities. Tom was a superstar host and couldn’t do more for us before and during our stay, customer service was amazing. We would 100% use this place again for family or social events!

Amazing place!

I'm sorry but I've stayed in a lot of places over the years and the Baytree Lodge has just moved into my number one worst.
We booked a specific room because we liked the look of it, only on arrival to be told we were in another room and no explanation of why until we had to ask. Then upon entering this room we could smell urine and traced it down to two areas either side of the main bed. We were hungry by this time and went out for food and were too tired when we got back to do anything about it. We went out the next day and the urine smell had gone and the room had been cleaned which was great!
Then there was the issue of the bed. I can only describe it as having two giant people sized bomb holes in it where the bed and or mattress are obviously so old and knackered you sink into it. Even before you lay on the bed you can see the two giant depressions in the bed. I felt thoroughly sick after sleeping with my feet above my head level.
Next was the pillows. As my head was too low, I grabbed another pillow from the spare bed only to find it had some massive browny orange stain on it, I didn't notice this until the next morning after I had slept on it, totally disgusting!!
There was no information about locking the bedroom door until we had to phone up and ask at which point we were spoken to in a manner not appreciated as if we were problem clients, even though we had said nothing about the room yet.
Other than the above the room was warm, the bathroom was clean, the shower was powerful and spacious.
There were tea and coffee facilities in the room and a tv with lots of channels but a temperamental remote.
If you can sleep with constant road noise then this is the place for you!
I personally wouldn't stay here again for the above reasons.
