My spouse and I staying here in EA and the staff have been extremely friendly. The rooms are very clean and everything is quiet! Manager is amazing! Staff extremely helpful in helping guide us to bus routes and guiding us to Ellesmere Port so we can visit some friends!

Amazing Staff

Lovely location and clean and tidy too, friendly welcoming staff also but upstairs rooms don't have working showers due to extremely low hot water presure.... choose a ground floor room or stay else where.

Travel lodge Chester

I remembered the place many years ago and don't think it was Travelodge then.  I was pleasantly surprised of the standard was presented,  Even my daughter was even surpried too.  Now even taking away what she desribes Travlodges as CRUSTY!! No more now.  The room a pleasant surprises very comfortable and the standard of cleanliness was of an high standard.  Whether you be the cleaner, front of house, or the hotel manager they all carried themselves of an exempary fashion.  I've booked another 2 nights on the basis of the one night.  Family Room which we are looking forward to in July with a late booking out for the Saturday.  Can't wait and many thanks agin well done Travelodge.

A gem by the local school in Hoole Bank

Perfect and peaceful. The staff were brilliant,  friendly, helpful and efficient. The room was clean and tidy and we had a really good nights sleep in the bed. As it was just a short drive from the centre, without being too busy or crowded, it was the ideal place for our needs. 

Hoole village travellodge

No problem whatsoever as far as Warrington Road Travelodge is concerned due to ideal location only 5 minutes away from Chester itself, 5 minutes from South to Eastbound M56 or carry on 5 minutes further to Cheshire Oaks and beyond to the Wirral and Merseyside and Vice Versa, Disadvantage No exit to the westside to Deeside and vice versa. Good thing there is Toby Carvery next door for Breakfast and Meals.

It was good only issue I had was a massive skip outside of my hotel room and my windows was covered in compwibes. The bedroom was clean and the bath was nice to see I think they put new carpet down .. 

Excellent defo would stay here again

On 22nd of September 2023, Justine from Chester Warrington Road has been extremely friendly and professional individual. She seems a fun person to talk to as well! She was very helpful and trying hard to help me move to a different hotel. Unfortunately, the guy who Justine was talking to - was not helpful at all. He literally was ping ponging emails to Justine instead of trying to call her to resolve the issue quicker. Justine did not know his telephone number otherwise the she would have called him. Unfortunately, I had to get stuck at the desk for 2+ hours. This is not the best way to spend Friday! If I had a company, I would have hired Justine, and fired or trained another guy for lacking professionalism, wasting time without prioritising the tasks and lack of customer centric awareness.
2 stars! Justine, solely, deserves 5.

Justine needs a pay rise!

This hotel is dated and needs a complete overhaul. Furniture is like something from a haunted house. Room looked dirty however think this is likely due to the age - stains on carpet and marks on paintwork. Bathroom was in desperate need of a refit. Terrible damp smell in first corridor past the first few rooms of the hotel.  

On a positives staff were very pleasant and close to transport links (motorway)

Not the best!

Have visited approx 8 times over the years but this will be our last. Staff lovely but hotel Needs a big revamp. Bedding and towels clean but everything else looking tired. Dirty carpets, damp smells, old telly, worn out bathroom. Horrid full length non slip shower mat in bath. Sadly will not be returning.

Will not be visiting again

Good value from a budget hotel, very friendly staff, nice clean room and bathroom, nice tidy surrounds, close to Chester and the zoo, no breakfast but Toby Carvery next door, easy access from the M53
