Easy to book on line , £135 one night deluxe room , 
Room looked nice but very small, bed uncomfortable, sheets did not fit, noise coming from other rooms unacceptable, dirty cup in bathroom, towels smelt

Don’t stay if you need to sleep

Having stayed in mostly 5 star hotels this was our first experience staying in a B&B. Well firstly we shouldn't have been apprehensive as our stay, room and lovely touches were as good if not better from a "hotel". Lovely toiletries , good coffee machine and lovely bed linen all made our stay. Our breakfast was freshly cooked and the best scrambled eggs I've had.

Excellent

We booked this B&B as it was near a wedding we were attending and the Premier Inn was full. It was a lovely surprise. We don’t normally stay in B&B’s, but this one was very welcoming, spotlessly clean, with firm, supportive, comfortable mattresses on the bed, a coffee machine and herb tea bags in the room, boxes of chocolates and sweets in every room (which our nephew appreciated!), and a very good quality cooked breakfast. Free parking and good WiFi were a bonus, especially as we had poor mobile and data connections on our phones in the area. Thank you to the owners for a very comfortable stay.

Unexpectedly good

Took my wife to visit Arundel Castle and, me being me, went looking for hotels. Instead I found Blackmill Spinney Boutique B&B and I’m so glad. Out in the countryside, a fabulous room with patio doors and a private garden just for us, and a home cooked breakfast every morning. Do yourself a favour - skip the hotels for once and try something like this instead. You won’t regret it one little bit.

Visit for wife’s birthday

We had a truly wonderful and relaxing stay in this beautiful B&B which is credit to Lisa, the owner.
Excellent communication from the moment I made my initial enquiry about room availability, right through to when we checked out. Lisa knows the area well and gave us some helpful hints for places to visit.
Blackmill Spinney B&B is immaculate, spotlessly clean, with high quality furnishings and beautifully decorated and well equipped rooms.We stayed in the Chichester room, a spacious room, with an incredibly comfy bed - we had the best sleep for ages. A large walk-in wardrobe, and bathroom with bath and separate shower cubicle. There are lots of added extras which add to the experience. The breakfast was perfect, a good choice of cold things including fresh fruit salad and then for the cooked breakfast we had quality ingredients cooked to order - absolutely delicious.
Blackmill Spinney B&B is close to Chichester and Arundel and an ideal base if you are visiting anywhere in the area including Goodwood or Petworth.
Excellent value for money.
We will definitely return.

Weekend at this boutique B&B exceeded all expectations.

i took my wife away for her 60th birthday we returned to the Blackmill Spinney because we had such a nice time before ,on arrival we found we had been upgraded to a luxury suite with usual high standards through out,the box of chocs were again a nice touch on the pillow. We  went out all day and return late that evening to find a card for my wife accompanied by a bottle of champagne on ice, so very unexpected but made the day for my wife. The two mornings were started by freshly cooked breakfast of your choice . we are returning again and would urge any traveller in the area of Chichester not to miss the opportunity to stop here

60th birthday

We needed a place to stay as we were going to a wedding nearby. The Hilton was fully booked so found this little gem! Beautiful place! So modern and shabby chic! Beds are super comfy and linen so soft! Best sleep followed by the best breakfast ever! Thanks so much x

Forget the Hilton... this is the place to be!

We had the best stay here and couldn’t fault it! We were met on arrival by Lisa who was a delight, couldn’t have been more helpful and pleasant. She showed us to our room which was beautiful and had absolutely everything we could have asked for and more. Decor beautiful and immaculately clean, staff were all delightful, the breakfast was amazing and the best we have ever had! We would totally recommend Blackmill for an outstanding place to stay! Brilliant place to stay!

We spent one night here and were disappointed. The B&B advertises itself as a boutique and is very well rated, but what we got for £120 was not worth the money, the room was relatively small without storage space, basically the bed covered the ground floor. The bathroom was comparatively huge and very modern. Positive the nice staff and the really high-quality, wonderfully comfortable beds. Very negative (and leading to devaluation) the fact that the house is very bright and in the upper floor it was obviously wood-bottled.
