Although a bit off the beaten path, this is a gem. Alicia and David were excellent hosts....listen to them about directions to the B&B.
Very nice rooms, great telecommunications, and an English breakfast to die for.

Great Devon Hospitality

Stayed here for two nights while walking the South West Coast Path. It's around 30 minutes walk along the river from the centre of town but it means it's in a very quiet location and it's a nice walk (you will need a torch at night). Friendly owners. The room and bed are big, with a separate dressing room. The breakfast was very good with proper orange juice. Free weekend paper of your choice. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Our Salcombe Holiday was absolutely charming, especially once we found ourselves at Ness and Phil's doorstep at The Brambles B &B! What an enchanting setting, perfect for relaxing in a peaceful garden location with the rolling countryside hills in the background. The room was super comfortable and spotless! The gorgeous breakfast spread was fantastic, Ness and Phil made certain there was plenty of fresh options to enjoy, from her delicious homemade Muesli cereal (best I've ever had!) to full English breakfast!  The best part was getting to know Ness and Phil! Their warm welcome, kind hospitality and magnetic personality was exemplary! The perfect B & B experience when in Salcombe, this is where you will want to be! Your friends from Bermuda will be back for sure Ness and Phil!!

First-class B & B in the most tranquil, peaceful country setting

Spent 3 nights in Brambles B and B as part of a walking holiday. Felt really well looked after by Vanessa and Phil who were wonderful hosts and i'm sure nothing would be too much trouble. The attractively decorated room was very luxurious with a large en suite bathroom and a dressing room. Little touches made it  extra special, daily Kit Kat, complimentary paper on Sunday mornings. As said many times before in these reviews, the breakfasts were excellent and Vanessa and Phil were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The 15-20 minute walk into Salcombe is so pretty and peaceful along Batson Creek and we had very good meals at the Victoria and Fortescue Inns.Would highly recommend a stay at Brambles.

A lovely stay at the brambles! Vanessa and Phil were perfect hosts, room was so pretty with lovely views. Breakfast five star!  Thankyou for a perfect stay

Amazing bisut

I had planned a stay, but had to cancel it because of an accident my mother-in-law had about a week before the start. I had to find that the cancellation fees are very high (100 pounds for three days planned!) and the cancellation conditions hardly give the guest a chance to get a refund. I myself felt sorry, sorry: unfairly treated. My urgent advice: before booking, read the small print and think about what you have a chance of even in case of cancellation!!
