recently refurbished lovely rooms. 24/7 access and car park. netflix and internet TV with many channels. Rooms have a desk, large TV, amazing shower with a massive shower head giving a waterfall shower.

awesome little hotel

We were visiting a friend in Horsham, so needed a base for the night. The managers (Adam and Alison) were very friendly and professional and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast the following day was very nice. Will definitely be staying here again when in the area. Oh, and they are a great venue if you're looking for somewhere to host a wake, birthday celebration or wedding party.

Wakey Wakey

We booked a room for a night before flying from Gatwick.  We arrived to a warm welcome and were given our keys to a well heated, clean room.  Nothing was too much bother for Alison and Adam and we highly recommend staying here before an early flight.  Alison even printed us off directions for Gatwick due to the M23 been closed.  This information was given to us without us having to ask.  We had a drink in the bar and a meal and found the food tasty and hot and the prices reasonable.  We will certainly use again

Pleasantly surprised

I have been to The Regency Hotel with my girlfriend and we both wasn’t expecting very well mannered, polite and friendly staff members.  A pearl to find these days. 

The hotel itself is a bit old fashioned but acceptable overall. 

Thanks again for the phone chargers!! 

We will come back if travelling from/to Gatwick. 

Great Customer Focused Staff!!

I booked the Regency Hotel as it was close to Gatwick and I wanted somewhere to rest after my flight before a 2 hour train ride south.
I was greeted by Adam at the front desk who set me up in my room and dropped off some chips for me to snack on. I stayed on site, mostly napping and adjusting to the time change but did have dinner and breakfast.
I was too tired to explore the grounds and unfortunately the pool was out of service. But it really is a lovely area.

The key to the Regency is Allison and Adam. As other reviews state the hotel is old, and could use a updating. However the bed was very comfortable, the room a nice size and the staff treated me like a friend visiting their home. Great price as well.

Would absolutely recommend for a visit to the area or if you need a hotel near the airport before or after a flight.

Perfect for Jetlag Recovery

The rooms need work and updating. Heating in the room was bad, bathroom was freezing! I was given an electric heater and told it could be left on all day, but housekeeping would turn it off so would come back to the cold. Room needs an update, bathroom in poor state, shower needs re grouting, window doesn't seal shut. 

Annoyingly there was no one on reception when leaving to make any of the comments about the room.

Wasn't drawn in by the menu, and wasn't aware of the bar until the last night. Seemed that with the resteraunt having no one in, it would have been more of an inconvenience to order. 

WiFi was slow which was annoying at times. 

Access to local services good, car park okay, just be careful with lower cars.

Needs work

We stayed the night here with friends and had an absolutely brilliant time. Negatives are rooms need updating and modernising but that aside..the staff are fantastic and work hard to make sure you are comfortable and have a great stay. The hotel itself is fab and set in amazing grounds..so peaceful and secluded yet near enough to Gatwick or other stations into London. The bar has plenty lf choice..and the barman worked tirelessly all night! Special kudos for the yummy breakfast to - very much needed after a night socialising with a drink or two at the bar lol.  All in all a great visit and we'll be sure to head back next time we are in the area.

Great place

We stayed at the regency hotel over the weekend for a family and friends event. 
Firstly I have to praise our hosts for making us very welcome and ensuring we had a comfortable stay.  
We thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Our room was clean and comfortable, however just a little bit shabby.  With some updating of the facilities and decor this hotel would be a little gem.  
Secluded and quiet , excellent staff and comfortable bed I’d be happy to stay here again.

Fabulous social evening

A big thank you to Allison and Adam, great hosts and venue for my wife’s surprise birthday party. Exceptionally helpful, and put on a wonderful spread (buffet), that exceeded my expectations, the rooms were extremely comfortable as well. Recommend this venue for any party. Thanks again.

Birthday party

Me and my husband recently had our wedding reception at this hotel. Alison and Adam and staff were fantastic my day was perfect due to enthusiasm and care we received. They helped us with all the planning that involved the venue and really went the extra mile for us. Food was amazing and service was great. All my guests that stayed over night raved about the facilities rooms and breakfast. I would strongly recommend this hotel for any event or just a get away. Thank you so much for making my wedding the best day of my life.
