We stayed at the Manor House Gatwick and left our car with them for a couple of weeks.

We were just there for the night before flying out and their service included a room for the night with a continental type breakfast, transport to the North Terminal and parking for 13 nights.

When compared with the cost of long term parking, the cost was very competitive and it was nice not to have to get up at the crack of dawn to drive to Gatwick on the day of our flight. 

The room itself was not large but it was clean and entirely adequate for one overnight. It all worked exactly as was proposed.

The owner was very pleasant and clearly had a set routine. Although he was happy to ferry us to the terminal, he was not willing to collect us after the flight home. He recommended a local taxi company for this and it all worked well.

Would we stay there again? Absolutely yes. It is a far better option than either taking a minicab from our home in NW London, or driving and leaving the car in a long term car park.

A valuable service

We were here for a very little time but everything seemed okay. We booked for a night on our return to the UK but left our car for the duration of our holiday. So we drove to the hotel before going to the airport. Between the hours of 12 and 2 the owners don't work, so we had to post our car key through the letter box and didn't see anyone at all. I'm not sure where the people who posted reviews about an inclusive journey to the airport managed to get that. We called a taxi and it cost £15 with the £5 that Gatwick airport now charge for taxi's to drive in (ridiculous btw). 
   We returned to the UK very late at night, hence the need to find somewhere to stay. So when we arrived at The Manor House it was gone midnight. We'd been given the code to the lockbox outside, let ourselves in and followed the instructions to find our room. All this went very smoothly. We had to check out by 10.00 the next day. So, as I said, we weren't there for very long. The room was comfortable though, and I enjoyed a good nights sleep. The en-suite bathroom was clean and the shower good.
  Breakfast was a help-yourself affair, Toast, cereal and yogurt. Something cooked would have been nice, however. The owner stuck her head around the door to say hello.
  We found our car okay and it was fine. It's a good hotel at a reasonable price for leaving your car.

Made a good impression

Stayed overnight before flying from Gatwick, and the rooms are clean, comfortable with en suite shower rooms. Plentiful tea and coffee in rooms, fresh milk from a fridge downstairs, and friendly owner. The car stays at the rear of the property until your day of return. Incredibly reasonable and the price includes a lift to the airport between specified times. A "self service" cold breakfast with a good choice of things, plus tea and coffee. Taxi back was just under £9. Thoroughly recommended.

Really handy for Gatwick

Very clean place polite owners let us in early after a long drive down very comfortable bed with tea making facilities very close to Gatwick airport we will use again to park the car here as it is alot cheaper than the  Airport car parks 

Cheap and cheerful 

We have stayed here several times when flying from Gatwick.  Owners are friendly and helpful.  Rooms are clean. Breakfast is a "help yourself" with coffee, tea, toast, cereal etc.  Very good value.  We would definitely recommend and will be staying again.

Overnight Stay

Friendly bar staff and special shout to Jamie for the gin cocktail. Effort was made to get us a table to eat and service was speedy and with a smile. Considering they were catering for a very large party, it was good that all staff had a sense of humour!

We had a nice stay at the Manor House. Location is easy to find. Just a 10 min taxi ride from Gatwick. Breakfast was good. Place was very clean and comfy. The only downside is the 5pm to 10pm check in. We arrived much earlier than intended and showed up at 11am. I was aware of the check in time but thought I’d see if there was a chance to get in early. The fellow was nice enough to store our bags but the check in times are enforced. Just be aware. We ended up taking a taxi into town and went for dinner and a movie. No problem. Otherwise all wonderful. 

One night stay between flights

Easy to find, good parking and convenient for Gatwick airport
Lovely old building, but very tired and in need of a refurb
That said owner was lovely and room was clean and tidy.
It would be nice to have individual heating in the room as although it was May when we stayed, I was freezing cold in the room and slept in my clothes
Make sure you are there before 10pm to check in.
NB : Cannot get food on site, you will need a car to get to a pub or the local takeaways

Cheap & Cheerful

Booked a very last minute room due to bad weather, the location is just at the end of the road for Purple Parking, the cost of the room and the location were great and took the stress out of an early morning flight.  The room was clean and warm and we even managed to use the self service breakfast room before we headed to the airport, as it is a b&b they are not set up for late arrivals, so if you plan on checking in later than 10pm you might have a problem.

Last minute booking 

Stayed one night prior to holiday flight. 
Stayed here on many occasions in the past previously about 12 years ago. Same friendly owners. Well organised. Comfortable rooms. Hassle free.Made use of the parking. Minutes from airport so just a short taxi ride. About £10.
Breakfast available if you want.
