If I had an option to review negative I would have rated this as  minus 100. Please people who are looking to book this house please be aware that the owner stays next to the house and will interfere with everything you do. In fact he will come in when you are not in premises and will check your rooms. We had the most bad experience with this holiday and the owner is the most inhuman and insensitive person i have ever seen in my life.

Worst experience with the owner

Currently closed and up for sale. Has been closed for at least 7 months . Position on coast is excellent . Large car park. Views of sea in distance.  Some bed and breakfast business. In centre of small village. 

Information

Used a Go Groupie for our stay. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order, after you had chosen your own cereal/juices etc. Room OK a little tired if anything but nice views.
Mixed feelings about the restaurant food. One night was really good other not so.
As this restaurant is near a couple of campsites its best to book a table as it did get quite busy.
Young staff we met on bar/restaurant  duty exceptional ..very pleased with their service.

  

GOOD LOCATION...

Needs a lot of attention to detail to bring this hotel to a good standard. Some health and safety issues around electrical items out of date for pat testing. Not suitable for disabled people as there are a lot of stairs which are also narrow. Breakfast is good, but evening meal average. Lovely location with good views out to sea.

Average hotel, very 'tired'

I have just completed a 4 night break at Ael y Bryn. I chose this hotel based on previous trip advisor results. I travelled on my own so booked to stay in room 7. I can only say it was exactly as described and i was in no way disappointed. I was visiting North Wales on my motorbike and needed a place to stay each night whilst out touring during the day. From the moment i arrived i was made to feel welcome by the manager and staff alike. All very friendly and chatty. From a bikers point of view, there was no problem having the bike there on good solid flat ground where i felt somewhat at ease leaving it parked each night. The views out of the front of the hotel are great. Full breakfast each morning set me up for the day. I chose to eat there as well each night as from the start the food was great and reasonably priced. Plus a pint from the bar once the bike was laid up for the night. There were other guests staying at the hotel who were also very pleasant but no worries as you do not feel at all cramped here. Would i stay again, YES. Would i recommend YES. The hotel is dog friendly and a number of guests and visitors made use of this great opportunity. ( I love dogs) Don't worry if you don't,  it doesn't stink of wet dog, its a very clean place. Day trips out from here are great. I obviously used the bike but i also took a walk down to the beach which took about 20 minutes down a really quiet lane. All in all a great place to stay, thanks to all the staff and lovely lady manager. Not 5 star as it rained but hey thats not there fault.

Great place for a break

Had a two night break, B&B including dinner ,here. Good food, friendly helpful staff, lovely big room with great sea view .  Needs a bit of tidying up, but staff seem new, so perhaps it will improve. Big advantage for us , was it being dog friendly . And free wifi.
