What a lovely stay! Staff were super friendly, We got given complimentary beers and fruit shoot on arrival which was a nice touch. The room was clean and big no issues plenty of space for kids to play around. We had breakfast the next morning everything fresh and had a table booked for us.

Will Stay again!

Older woman stranded at Grantham station this was the perfect place to stay .Reception staff were so friendly & supportive to a very weary traveller - both on the phone before arrival & at checking in. The room was super clean, comfy bed & great shower. Cooked breakfast excellent - with a toaster set to give 'brown' toast first time around - that is rare enough to deserve a mention !!

Just what I needed

Stayed at the Premier in which was great, however the pub next door was a bit quiet so they kicked out the customers at 9.30, alot of pissed off people who wanted to have a few beers after a long day.

The pub next door closes when it feels like it!!!!!!!

Karen is an absolute credit to the company! Hotel is a classic premier inn with an attached restaurant, all good and as you would expect. Great location and good atmosphere. Good location for Grantham and all it covers …. Honestly, Karen is the star of the show!

Superb staff

Well what can I say. We stayed Friday to Sunday room number 10, the room was nice although there was a layer of dust on the bedside table, and some of the sockets weren’t working. The thermostat was useless did not operate the heater at all. So it was either too hot or too cold in the room. 

The people next door to us (I believe a group of teenagers) thought it would be funny to knock on our door Friday night several times. Then Saturday night at around 9pm they decided to kick the door several times frightening my child! They then cleared and at around midnight they came back and done it again, slamming doors also, shouting, we had to be up early and this ruined our nights sleep. Couldn’t find any one at reception so waited till morning, when we was told “ oh we didn’t hear anything” and that was that no offer of compensation (a good nights sleep or your money back) no apologies, nothing!! 

On returning home I have noticed that premier Inn have taken another £10 from our business account?? I already paid £177 for the room, why have you taken another £9.99??? After the rubbish 2 nights we had in your hotel?? Terrible!

Terrible

The Premier Inn here is expected to be simple, but pleasantly clean and well equipped, nice reception - solid. Besides there would be a pub, otherwise you're away - too far away for a walk to dinner. All this is good, but unfortunately the internet access is so bad that you can't really talk about using the Wi-Fi... at least if you don't buy the option Executive Wi-Fi... annoying, especially if you're here for business and want to work.

Simple, clean, all right.

I booked this hotel for the night before taking part in a half marathon race. As I was staying there alone, the cost of £105 was very expensive but I needed a good nights sleep and felt it was worth paying. I arrived late afternoon, there was no-one at the reception, I rang the bell and waited. After waiting for 10 minutes, ringing the bell twice along with other customers, the receptionist arrived. She wasn't overly polite or friendly, not the best first impression. The room was a standard double, clean and well maintained. 
However, the road noise from the A1 was constant, the windows were poorly fitted and the gap when they were closed allowed the noise into the room. I struggled to sleep, the lorries did not stop all night, the rumbling sound was constant. I fell asleep in the early hours (last looked at my watch at 2.15am) and was woken by a loud lorry at 4.45am. Unfortunately, that was the end of my sleep. 
I spoke to the receptionist when I checked out. She told me the website states there is road noise - it doesn't. She then said that with the windows closed I wouldn't have heard any noise - obviously I'm a liar. I asked her to go to the room and hear it for herself, she did not respond to this but handed me a card to complain and get a refund online. 
I filled in a refund request, after no response for 3 weeks I sent a dm, my request was refused as they can not control external noise. I agree, but I would never have booked this hotel if the website had mentioned road noise. I feel cheated, I wasted money on a rubbish nights sleep and really struggled the next day. 
Premier inn don't care about customers, once they have your money they don't care if you are happy or not.

We enjoyed a good night here thanks to the help and assistance given by Charlotte the receptionist. She went out of her way to make sure we were completely satisfied with our room. Thank you Charlotte

A happy end to a bad day

After the website didn’t let me know at the time the accessible room had not in fact been booked , I was left with a double and my mum needing a accessible room .. Karen managed to rearrange some rooms and make this happen.. she was so helpful, shame the web site not so , ( maybe something they could look at , not leave you thinking you have booked proper room ) the staff in the hotel though I couldn’t fault, especially Karen , thank you for the help 

Helpful staff

We stayed here just before our wedding in nearby Aswarby. 
Karen on reception was absolutely lovely and there is nothing quite like a Premier Inn breakfast to start the day - especially when it's a big one! 
We always find ourselves well rested and know what we are getting - a good night's sleep on a comfy bed followed by a proper breakfast.
