We booked a family(QUAD) room with one double bed and 2 singles as per written confirmation. However we were told the room was Std and no Family Room was available. We were also charged £10 simply for putting our luggage in the room before 1500hrs despite not being able to stay in it as the beds needed altering to our requirement and we were immediately going into town. The receptionist was rude and adamant we had booked a Std room (untrue!) and noone came back to us despite us asking the receptionist to take up our complaint with her Manager (we did not believe we should have been charged £10)

Incorrect Room Provided

The Premier Inn Halifax is a great place to stay. The staff was great and our room was quite large with good views. We had a good breakfast and it is close to the many shops and the superb Piece Hall. It is right next to the Cinema and places to eat, you can't go wrong. We came from Manchester by train -less than an hour. You can easily walk to the Premier Inn come out of the train station cross straight across and up the road facing you then turn right at the set of lights and keep going till you see the cinema the Premier Inn is situated on the left, and you can walk it in under 15 minutes.  There is lots to see and do in Halifax visit their website.  We will certainly be back.

So Enjoyable

Have stayed here before when we come back to visit friends and family in Halifax.  
Hotel is situated in a good position to get around Halifax.  Car park is almost attached to it.  I'd advise you to book before you get here to park as you get a cheaper rate.  Beefeater restaurant is also attached to the building and breakfasts are normally great here and good value, but they were having problems with coffee machine and was Luke warm although they did warm it in the microwave for me.  Breakfast was ok.  There is a good choice though and you get plenty of you get everything on the menu!
Room was fine.  Standard king-size bed.  Extra pillow if you need them, tea and coffee in the room.  Clean room.  Hairdryer provided.  WiFi was free and was adequate for what I used it for.   Was cheap room for 2 nights but have stayed here when it's more than treble the price and I wont pay that again.  Staff are great and nothing too much trouble.  Will Def use again if the price is right! 

Nice hotel

Went to the bathroom at 2am and the door handle came off in my hand, trapping me in the bathroom. Screamed and banged for help for over 3 hours before the fire brigade arrived and broke down the doors. Staff apologised but were rude, and had no care for my health or wellbeing. Manager disappeared quickly and wouldn't make eye contact. Staff smoked while watching me struggle with cases back to the car. Disgusting place and Staff. If there was a fire I would not be here today. Avoid if you cherish your life. 

TRAPPED IN THE BATHROOM

A great night. We were going down to The Piece Hall later in the evening so decided to stay over and explore Halifax. The hotel was perfectly situated only about a 15 minute walk down so we went in a few bars on the way down. Staff at the hotel were Beth friendly, room was clean and super comfy beds just perfect for what we needed. Would definitely stay again 

Halifax stay

Really comfy stay, was given local information and Sunak was especially friendly and helpful made my stay memorable on both occasions. I was a little early and was allowed to check in, which l appreciated having had a long journey.

Cosy and friendly hotel 

Went here with the children to have a night out for food and cinema - the location was just right and the experience as a whole was just what we wanted. We felt safe. We were comfortable and the temperature in the room was perfect. Breakfast choice was great and a special mention for the lady who showed us to our table as she was so efficient but also friendly 

Comfortable, friendly, efficient

Brilliant little hotel.  Lovely staff, great breakfast, car park not free but same location as the hotel.  Easy to book cheaper before you travel. Lovely clean room as always,  always stay at Premier Inn in halifax.  Can't go wrong for the money. 

Ideally situated in halifax for walking

A really pleasant stay, Sanna did a first-class job checking us in and was very helpful providing other amenities for the room.
The room itself was comfortable and we both had an excellent night's sleep. 
Breakfast was really well managed and really well prepared.
We would happily choose to stay again in future.

An excellent and enjoyable stay

Lovely stay, we had been to Eureka for the day and the hotel is very close to the museum. Staff were friendly and helpful. Clean and comfy room, and the breakfast was better than I expected and excellent value with the kids eating free, would definitely stay again!
