Lovely, well appointed apartment, close to town centre, conference centre and theatres. Great communication with the hosts. Everything was perfect, and would certainly recommend to others.
Parking is excellent, if no room at the rear car park, good street parking is nearby, with the hosts providing the required voucher. Super.

An excellent find.  Mark was exceptionally helpful both before and during my stay.  The place is really lovely and perfectly situated.  It's clean, tidy and a joy to stay in.  If I return to Harrogate, it will definitely be where I choose to stay again.  Thank you!

Perfect!

Overall a good place to stay for a couples break in Harrogate for 2 nights. We will almost certainly return, and would recommend it to others. There are, however, a couple of minor issues that the management could address to improve the overall experience. Our stay was in the 'triple studio' room 12, on the top floor.

Positives:-
- Really handy location within a relatively easy (but hilly!) walk to the town centre. It is situated on a fairly busy road and our room was on the front so there was some noise associated with this, but not so much that it disturbed us. In summer, however, if you want to leave the window open overnight, it may be an issue. I would suggest using the interactive tour before booking a room to pick the best for your needs.
- The website has a great 'Street view' style interactive tour so you can familiarise yourself with the accommodation in advance. It also allows you to look around the rooms so you can pick the best for your needs. It would be helpful if the booking site included the room numbers alongside the room type so you could easily match these up with  the tour - the only way we found was to try and match up the pictures!
- Welcome message from the manager was very helpful and contained all of the information we needed. 
- Access is through keypad locks, with your personal code included in the welcome email. This was extremely convenient and a big plus from us.
- Despite several other guests we weren't really disturbed nor aware of them throughout our stay

Negatives:-
- The cleanliness of the room was generally ok, but could be better. In the middle of the bathroom floor there was a clump of soil that looked like it had come off the sole of somebody's shoe. The microwave was full of crumbs and obviously had not been cleaned (see picture). There was quite a substantial cobweb around the curtain rail too (see picture) and above the bath/shower, but no spiders evident!
- The heated towel rail in the bathroom needs bleeding. Only the bottom section was hot so we struggled to get our towels to dry during our stay
- The car park is very small. There were 3 cars parked in there when we arrived and I felt our car (Q5, so reasonably big) would likely be scratched/caught due to the tightness of the spaces (especially as someone had covered 2 spaces with their car!) As a result, we ended up leaving our car on a side road using the complimentary passes (we just put a new one in each morning as these only last for 1 night), and there was plenty of space to choose from, so not particularly inconvenient.

Overall we were happy with the stay. If the points above could be addressed it would be a 5-start review, but we look forward to returning in the future!

A good base for a couples break

Not the biggest of apartments,  more of a room with a kitchenette,  but don't let that put you off as it's nicely done. Everything you need is there from fridge to coffee machine. The owners have really put thought into it. The whole apartment is lovely and clean. Nice rainfall shower too. Communication before and during the stay was excellent. Would definitely use again if visiting Harrogate.

Everything you need in an apartment. 

Had a fantastic time staying here. Lovely room with a really well equipped kitchen, beautifully decorated throughout and a lovely bathroom. Great communication from the owner and we enjoyed a lovely breakfast at the sister guest house over the road. This was cooked to order and delicious. Fab location for walking into Harrogate and very reasonably priced. Thank you!

Fabulous!

We have stayed in many hotels and I have to say this apart hotel is one of the best. Absolutely lovely room , spotlessly clean, great location and fantastic customer service from Mark . Would highly recommend a stay here and hopefully will be returning soon. Thankyou for a fantastic stay

Fantastic

I stayed here for a night with my sister, to attend a gig at the Conference Center.  The apartment was great, it was clean, stylish and had everything we needed including fresh milk in the fridge for our morning coffee and very comfortable beds!  The room had been set up as a Twin bedroom as requested, and access was via a keypad with a personalized code which was really useful meaning we didn't have to worry about losing or leaving keys.  

It's a short walk to the conference center and the bars and restaurants in Harrogate and there is free parking on site.  We weren't able to get a space in the car park, but that wasn't an issues as permits are available to park on the surrounding street, where there were plenty of spaces.  I will look to book this again the next time I visit Harrogate.

Clean room in a great location

Stayed here when attending a conference. Very conveniently situated 2 minutes walk from the conference centre and a short walk from town/rail station. The appartment was accessed via keycode, provided via email prior to arrival. Comfortable and furnished to a high standard, with kitchenette including fridge, cooker and dishwasher. Bathroom had a lovely shower and really nice toiletries, and the bed was really comfy. You can book breakfast across the road at their sister hotel, which was delicious with plenty of choice. Mark was really helpful and easily contactable. I would highly recommend staying here and will book again if i am ever in the area.

I stayed here for 2 nights for a work trip.
Really lovely room, with kitchen, table, rainfall shower which was fab. All very clean, bed was a little bit to hard for me but all the pillows etc so comfy. Lovely big fluffy towels and lovely toiletries. Fantastic communication, close to town and I felt very safe. Would definitely return next year.

An extremely enjoyable stay.

So pleased we chose The Belmont for our mini break in Harrogate. Location is excellent and within easy walking distance of some great eateries. We stayed in room 2 on the ground floor. This room has a fantastic bathroom with an incredible rain shower. The little kitchenette provides everything you need for a short break, and the bed was extremely comfortable. We were given very clear instructions regarding parking and accessing the property. Room 2 is directly accessible from the car park so we didn't really see the rest of the property, but we couldn't fault anything with our room at all. Mark was incredibly helpful and went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed. We will definitely stay here again when visiting Harrogate.
