This B&B was entirely delightful from the location, the hosts and the dogs. My room with the ensuite bath was delightful as I got to take a luxurious bath in a generously sized bathtub. I'm not a small person. 

Breakfasts were great with many options. And they even accommodated my need for an early morning by having some cold options ready for me the night before in a little fridge in the dining area. 

I would 100% recommend this very charming B&B 


Wonderfully Caring B&B

The welcoming atmosphere at Whistlers Dell B&B is hartwarming. Gordon and Joan as well as their two dogs Hazel and Heidi did everything to make our stay perfect. The room was as familiar as the rest of the house. The fresh cooked breakfast tasted delicious. If we ever come back to scotland, we will shurely visit Whistlers Dell B&B again.

Super welcome, warming hosts, friendly dogs, beautiful surrounding and garden. 
The bedroom and bathroom extremely clean and comfortable and the breakfast was very fresh and delicious. 100% recommended, we will repeat definitely. Thanks!

Better tsj expected

A most enjoyable stay at this very comfortable, welcoming B&B. Loved the attention to detail in the property - extremely comfortable bed, perfect room temparature, choice of wash accessories in the beautifully appointed bathroom and especially, absolutely delicious breakfasts with home-made conserves. Nothing was too much trouble and Gordon and Joan did all they could to ensure we had a good stay.
The property is tucked back in a little dell but with easy access to the environs and the surrounding area.
Helensburgh is a charming seaside town and a good base from which to explore Loch Lomond, the Trossachs and Argyll. The Hill House designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh is a must-see and has an excellent cafe. Very good choice of eating places along the front overlooking the Clyde estuary and in the streets leading off from there.

Charming accommodation with attention to detail

We arrived in pouring rain so made a very wet entrance, but we were made to feel very welcome, even the dogs were wagging their tails.  The room we had was very well furnished and the private bathroom was very large.  The towels were a particular favorite of mine.  If I had a comment to make, the bed would be even more comfortable if it had a mattress topper, which a lot of hotels are providing now.  Breakfast was fab.  Fresh orange juice, homemade bread and marmalade (my husbands favorite). We would definitely recommend Whistlers Dell.  Thank you

Excellent hosts that care about their visitors

If you want a reasonably priced bed and breakfast with the personal and friendly touch then this is for you. The bedroom was clean and well appointed. Gordon and Joan who run the b&b  couldn't have been more welcoming and nothing was too much trouble.  The homemade bread and marmalade every morning was a real treat and for those that wish there was a full english, bowls of fruit and breakfast cereals. With only 2 guest rooms you are guaranteed peace and quiet with the added bonus of 2 beautiful golden retrievers (Hazel and Heidi) to greet you everytime you walk in.

The personal touch

Gordon & Joan were very friendly, the B&B is very clean and comfortable. The breakfast with home made bread was lovely. I stayed for four nights on business and would stay again as it was very close to the local base.

Excellent place to stay if visiting or working

The owners were very welcoming even though I was very late in arriving.  The location is ideally located for working at a nearby Navy Base and is very close to Gare Loch.  It was a beautiful quiet location, the room was very spacious, spotless and comfortable.  Breakfast was at 8am and the full cooked breakfast with home made bread was second to none. All the time the B&B owners were very friendly.  I would strongly recommend this place to anyone who is visiting the area.

Super friendly hosts in a lovely location

A really nice and caring host. He made our delicious breakfasts, gave good suggestions for day trips and made us feel home.
The area is fantastic with lots of options for walking, water sports and cultural activities.

Fantastisch stay in a fantastisch area

Very clean room and beautiful bathroom, Our hosts were very helpful in giving directions the B and B was situated in a very nice location.  Gordon made lovely breakfasts lovely freshly baked bread. We loved the dogs Heidi and Hazel.
