The Inn is very good value and the breakfast was excellent, the staff are very friendly and helpful.  The rooms were clean and the beds very comfortable. I enjoyed my stay and will definitely go again.  The location is really good, being near to the town centre and station.

Enjoyable

I had a one night stay here and the staff were very attentive and helpful.
The bed was comfortable and the room though small had a working tv, the bathroom was compact but had a shower.
The room was impeccably clean.
The full English breakfast was well cooked and delightful !

An excellent room and great food , ideally located for the station and easily visible from the station.

As you might guess, the Station Inn is just along from the railway station and is an easy 10 minute stroll to the town centre. We only came for a drink and found the bar staff and customers all friendly and welcoming. 

We enjoyed good company and crisp lager and had a very pleasant evening. This is a pub we would certainly use again.

from walking through the door greeted by the lovely receptionist i knew it would be good the single room was perfect nice comfy bed plenty of tea & coffee & sugar(more than i usually see)lot's of storage wardrobe drawers,great en suite then breakfast was lovely great food well cooked all this for £49.50 what a bargain i would definitely recommend

So, so friendly and welcoming. I am not someone who enjoys ‘premium experiences’, yes, but the down-to-earth and honest grub vibe of this place is a fact. Yes, two stars, and very well deserved they are! Thanks so much, Station Inn. And the beer is so cheap!

Booked online fof a basic single room  via Agoda at GBP40.50, the Station Inn represented good value despite some flaws.

The lady owner was friendly.

My first floor Room 5 necessitated stair climbing.

The room had a fairly comfortable single bed lacking a top sheet but with a doona, two pillows and clwan white linen.

There were two tables, one of which was bedside.  Its lamp did not work.

The room lacked a chair but had a rather wonky standalone wardrobe.  It could perhaps fall if heavily bumped into. 

Tea and coffee plus a kettle were provided.

The small en suite had a hot water boiler that provided a good supply.

The shower operation was complex as the unmarked switch was near the flatscreen wall mounted TV at the end of the bed. I had to ask a loczl who was staying. He was also stumped for a minute. It ought have a sign.

The towel was a reasonable size, but there was no shampoo.

Breakfast started at the late hour of 0800 and lacked yoghurt.  The croissant was stale but muesli and hot chocolate plus bacon nice.

The hotel is an easy walk from the railway station with excellent Northern Trains railcars the best way to reach Hexham.

Good value despite sone minus points

We always stay at the Station Inn in Hexham.
We come at least once every six weeks.
The rooms,no matter, which one,are all comfortable, warm,clean and are well equipped. 
The staff are so,so friendly and pleasant. 
The breakfast,which is included in the price, is delicious and well cooked.
The hotel is only a short walk to the town,and there is ample parking.
The hotel bar is welcoming and there is also a good selection of choice for evening meals along with hot sandwiches as a bar snack.

Our choice in Hexham

A 1 night stay to visit local friends and family, the station Inn is really nice clean and tidy with very friendly staff, a warm welcome environment for my stay.

Although u can not park directly at the Inn there is multiple places within a min or 2 walking distance from the Inn.

I would definitely recommend and I will use again when in the area.

Oh and a very nice breakfast

First the hotel is a 2star , so don’t expect luxury, staff are lovely , £68 for a one nite stay in Hexham which is very cheap ,it is what it is , cheap n cheerful accommodion,  could do with a lick of paint but for one nite ( room just for sleeping for us )ok , Parkin availability 
We’ve been before and we’re a little disappointed with the breakfast but it was still acceptable, Parkin available for free just across the road 3 min walk , 
Would we go again ? Yes ! But just for a short stay thu ps the bar is pretty cheap too

One nite 

Radcliffe room.  Bed was comfortable but the pillows were not and could do with renewing and having a couple of spares.  The bathroom was the smallest I have ever been in. Be careful you don't knock yourself out on the sink while sitting on the toilet.  The tiny space could account for the lack of cleanliness.  The toilet was full of paper, the bin was covered in dust, there was a good sized spider web behind the door on the floor and there was signs of black mould on the shower floor.  The shower was of a decent size.  The hotel is very convenient for Hadrians wall and other attractions.  It does not do evening meals.  In fact there were no other restaurants/pubs in the area the did evening meals but there is a fish and chip shop nearby.  The breakfast in the morning was however very good.
