Amazing staff, so friendly and helpful. My friend and I were stranded after visiting for the day when the ferry home was cancelled. To say we were well looked after is an understatement. A special thank you to the duty manager who provided phone chargers and the chef who gave us and my dog a lift to the ferry port in the morning.
Can’t thank all the staff enough who were working on the 7th/8th of April. You guys are fantastic

Amazing staff

So pleased to see this place doing well. We visited for an evening meal and post climb drinks. Food, drinks and service were excellent and the welcome very warm. This is going to become a new favourite on the island especially when the warmer weather comes and we can sit in the perfectly located Beer Garden. Also dog friendly

Great for a warm welcome and great food and drink

An amazing find on the Isle of Arran. Best ever hotel with a quiet romantic feel. Rooms were beautifully decorated with great view of the water. Restaurant and bar added to the romantic feel of this amazing hotel. Dinner in front of a wood burning fire place. Meals had a traditional Scottish taste. Lots of choices all served hot and very tasty. Steak and ale pie was to die for. Great selection of wines and beers. My favourite, Tennents. Service was always excellent. Friendly and fast. A real bonus was, No TV. We learned how to really relax and as usual enjoy each other’s company even more. For sure if we get a chance to go back to this amazing island we will stay at the Corrie Hotel.

Amazing relaxing Hotel on Arran

Thank you so much for an amazing stay. Our room was extremely comfortable, we enjoyed sitting on the window seat looking out at the sea. Bed very comfortable and good electric shower. Nice touches like a tea cake and caramel wafer in the room. 

We brought our spaniel who was welcomed everywhere in the hotel. Lots of lovely sitting areas downstairs so we didn’t feel confined to a hotel room. Hotel was spotless, dog towels etc provided. 

The food was amazing. Large portions and beautifully cooked. I had the hake, with parmesan potatoes and vegetables. One of the nicest meals I’ve had. 

All staff very friendly and it was lovely to chat to Taylor about spaniels. Thanks again, I’m sure we’ll return.

Fabulous stay, lovely hotel and amazing food.

Good location, very good restaurant, great staff
We spent one night at the Corrie: really impressed by the staff, especially the manager Taylor and the co-owner Rodger, who both went out of their way to accommodate us as we had ferry hiccups. 
Everyone we interacted with as friendly, helpful and really welcoming. 
The only room available when we booked was their simplest double: yet it was comfortable and definitely echoed the historic character of the building. 
Standouts: our dinner (their signature burger & Steak & Ale pies with side salads) was excellent and served in a lovely, warm room with views to the water. Breakfast was lovely: cooked to order Full Scottish (or subset!), salmon, eggs any way you like (perfect poached eggs), porridge -  as well as juices, coffee, teas, fruit, etc
Really liked their big common room where we sat at the end of the day planning our next stops. 
Quick drive from the ferry,  easy parking, good location to explore Brodick Castle, Goatfell, Lochranza distillery. Lovely stay.

Good location, very nice staff, excellent dinner & breakfast

We had an evening meal as ‘walk in guests’, the service was excellent, food tasty and fast friendly service. My 6 year old was satisfied with the meal and we enjoyed a game of pool with a pre-dinner dinner drink in the lounge. We will be back, thank you!

Super food and super yummie!

We stopped here for a lunchtime drink and then booked for dinner the following evening. Throughout both visits staff were attentive and very professional and service was very efficient and prompt. Our dog even had her own dinner from the excellent dog menu and wolfed the lot down! Food was excellent (I had the haggis pakoras and steak pie) and I’d definitely recommend this hotel. At the end we had a quick chat with the new owner who was clearly passionate about his new venue but also in providing great service whilst looking after staff. Well done and I hope this is a success for you.

A great location with excellent food and service.

Whilst walking sections of the Arran coastal path, we had both lunch and dinner on consecutive days of our walk - what a find!  

The service was excellent - friendly and helpful staff and a very quick turnaround of food being served from the order.  We enjoyed siting outside in the beer garden when having lunch, which has wonderful sea views.  We sat inside in the restaurant for dinner which was busy and had a great atmosphere.

The menu had a good range of food to suit all tastes, as well as a vegan and gluten free menu which was great to see.  The food was cooked to perfection and we loved the fresh vegetables that accompanied our meals.  Our waiter was extremely efficient and attentive and everything ran like clockwork.  

All in all, a great place to eat and definitely to be recommnnded if you are in the area.   Just book a table for dinner as it gets very busy!  

Fabulous place to eat

Our second stay at The Corrie Hotel, such a fantastic place, super friendly staff & great food. Owners Andy & Rodger aren't afraid to get stuck in with the rest of the team and also make the time to chat with hotel guests. The Hotel has recently been decorated to a very high standard with ongoing upgrades to ensure maximum comfort to all who visit. We'll be back again soon. Shout out to Jordan, Tony, Taylor, Ewan, Kevin, Leah & Lottie the dog ! - other staff too who were friendly but we didn't get their names - thankyou all for another enjoyable stay. The Corrie Hotel, a pleasure to stay for a second time.

I stayed at the Corrie Hotel for 2 nights in Room 11 (double room with separate bathroom). The location of the hotel is stunning, and very conveniently accessed by bus from Brodick. I know the hotel is undergoing renovation and upgrades, so I hope the review helps with that.

My room was fine, the view was charming and it was neat and clean but it could have done with more amenities( better quality sheets, water glasses, fridge or ice bucket as it's the summer etc). It had clearly been painted quite recently, but I suspect it was done in a hurry, for example the window had to be propped open and couldn't be locked as the lock was painted shut. The bathroom was clean but in need of a renovation and the only amenity provided was shower gel, this should be clear on the website (which states the bathroom has amenities) if this was not an oversight.

I had dinner at the restaurant both nights, the food was ok but the restaurant lacked any atmosphere and the furnishing , tableware were all quite basic (except the wine glasses, which were lovely). The separate pub area looked much nicer and cosy and had a sea view, so I suspect the restaurant space was an overflow area. Given I booked a table on the first night and was a hotel guest it was disappointing to not get a better table, especially as the pub had tables free. I had not intended to eat there a second night but after Mara's fish bar ran out of food I was grateful to get a last minute table, again in the restaurant area.

Overall a pleasant stay, but I think the room rate (120 per night) was quite high, definitely the absolute maximum and I note the room often goes for more.
