Have stayed in this premier inn previously but thought I’d give it a second chance. To be fair it was worse this time. Staff were really friendly and the bed was comfy but that’s about it. Rooms could do with some attention, especially the bathrooms. On the last morning we noticed there was black mould on the ceiling above the back of the shower and also above the mirror. WiFi is non existent in this hotel, for what use it is. as is phone signal, which is a real pain. Contacted virgin as that’s what I was advised to do, nothing back. Think next time I’m in the area I will choose one of the other premier inns.

Not impressed this time.

You could see scum hanging from the bathroom tap while running water. The cooked breakfast was cold every morning for the 3 days I stayed. WiFi was too poor to connect and use. Temperature was also too hot in the room and you couldn’t lower it.

Dirty room/cold food

Stayed at Premier Inn Phoenix after attending Scottish M/Cycle Show in Edinburgh then going for a night out in Paisley. Good Hotel with ample parking. Quiet during the night depite being an "Airport" hotel for a lot of travellers. Very good attentive friendly Staff. Excellent Breakfast supplemented with a very concise Allergy information sheet which is paramount fro me as I am Coeliac. Not the first stay there for me and I will certainly use Premier Phoenix again.

Paisley Night Out

Good location for a family wedding.  Each member of staff was very courteous and helpful. Food was of a good standard. Only one hiccup was on our last morning during breakfast...we were asked to move from our table mid eating by the male manager. He shared that the table had been reserved for another family which he had with him. I apologised that I neither of us had noticed the reserved sign - and I looked for it...and there wasn't one.  Rather than kick up a fuss and spoil what had been a positive experience up until then - we moved a table of 7 to 2 tables.
In hindsight - I should have politely declined. I found this very unprofessional of the manager.


You know what to expect at Premier Inn

Gutted always thought when Lenny Henry said your "guarenteed a great nights" sleep in a Premier Inn thats what myself and mum would get...we didnt realise we would both be in agony with back ache thanks to the matress in Room 17.
This is the first time in a Premier Inn that I have dreaded going to bed.
Terrible matress it felt like a bed full of apples every part.We even went to the bottom of the bed to face the other way thinking this might help....but it didnt.
Sometimes you dont want to complain and make a scene,its a small hotel and a very open reception area that every one could hear you,so we put up with the bed.
Also when you unpack everything because you are there a few nights,you dont want to then have to pack up and move again especially when your mums 80.
Disappointed in our stay at the Linwood (Glasgow/Paisley ) hotel.Its put me off using another Premier Inn now.

Bad Bed

My family and I stayed at the Premier Inn twice in May 2023 and both times our stay was excellent 👌. You know what you get get when you stay there, good utilitarian rooms with everything you need for a short stay, friendly staff, an all you can eat breakfast and a good British restaurant for an evening meal. I've stayed in Premier Inns all over the country and never been disappointed.

I'm elderly and disabled.  booked an accessible room.  On arrival found that the room was number 36 which was the furthermost room from the entrance.  Asked for a nearer room, was told they were fully booked and given room 7 which was nearer but the bed was so high I could not get into it.  Informed reception, all I got was a shrug and told again they were fully booked Slept in the chair  and told reception in the morning.  Contacted customer services for a refund and was told my my situation did not conform to the Good Nights Sleep policy.  I am £300 out as I had booked for 4 nights, no refund.

Avoid if you are disabled

Ideal location for Glasgow Airport, Glasgow and the west area. Very clean, excellent food and a very comfy bed with choice of pillows to suit your needs. The breakfast is to die for. Some people seem to avoid staying at Premier Inns and yet I say if it’s not broke then don’t fix it. You can stay in the Hilton if you want at treble the cost. At the end of the day it’s about a nice meal, a good breakfast and a meticulously clean room. 


Great location and a comfy bed

Clean rooms, friendly staff. Checkin/out was fast and easy. Breakfast was great. Choice of continental or hot breakfast with lots of choices. Room was a bit warm with no air conditioning but was provided a fan that worked just fine

Friendly, clean & affordable

TERRIBLE STAY!! Avoid Avoid Avoid!
Last room available was only accessible room. Room full of spiders and cobwebs. Cobwebs full of dust. Room unclean. Didn’t get into room until late. Reported problem in morning to staff and showed them the state of room. Refund refused by customer relations manager Megan as state spiders and cleanliness or room do not fall under good night guarantee. Also states reception staff  have no note of my complaint so lies being told. Poor show.
