We have stayed at many Premier Inns over the years and this was, without doubt, the most disappointing. It is interesting that we have not received the usual post stay survey from the hotel.
One arrives in a potholed car-park which on our visit had a lot of litter which was not cleared up in the 3 days we were there.
We had asked for a quiet room on the top floor and the one allocated met exactly what we asked in terms of location. Sadly there was a strange aroma in the room which I reported immediately to reception who were very sympathetic but could not offer an alternative - they explained they had experienced flooding which could be the problem - indeed the smell was evident in the corridor.
The heating was difficult to master - once it reached the desired temperature it cut off and then the room steadily cooled - reception again explained it was the system.
We did not try the breakfast but the adjoining restaurant was not inspiring and was closed on one of the days of our stay,
The hotel is tired and needs urgent attention. Staff were excellent

Great staff - pity about the premises

Clean and comfortable which is what I'd expect from Premier Inn. Good breakfast too. I'd considered staying in Edinburgh for the night then moving on to Larbert but hotels there are much more expensive. Staff, especially at Breakfast, were very helpful and friendly

Good Premier Inn at Larbert

This is quite a basic Premier Inn and there is some wear and tear. It does deliver the quiet night , clean room / bathroom, comfortable bed and work station plus internet that mostly connects. There is the standard breakfast buffet in one of the newly restyled Breakfast Rooms full of dreadful punning signs. Staff are very friendly and helpful. But it was so cold in the public areas including the breakfast room which my colleagues also commented about. The room was cold on arrival however you can eventually get the heater to make it a bit warmer.

Nice wee hotel. Friendly staff, average breakfast, but it was hot & staff were so cheery.
The receptionist told us to go to The Bruce next door for food & drinks & that was nice.
I know they are not linked, so lovely to see some local establishments promoting the other. The recommendation was awesome though, as we loved The Bruce.
We will definately be back to the hotel & the pub soon.
Great for exploring Edinburgh, Glasgow etc too. Just pop on the train at Larbert station!

Centrally located, great staff

Friendly staff, clean hotel, great breakfast. Spoke to the young lady who was the manager about things to do in the area and she was extremely helpful and informative. Will definitely return to this hotel whenever I'm in larbert. Best Premier inn I've stayed at.

Brilliant

All staff where lovely , so helpful and friendly. From reception checkin to breakfast in the morning. All took the time to chat and make sure I had everything I needed. 
Nicole serviced my room . It was lovely, clean, tidy and well stocked. Would recommend

Night out stay over

Parking needs resurfaced not ideal for modified cars or any cars. Take your own pillow as they provide a pillow that’s flat and very hard. 

There is a pub next door if drinks and food, food stops service at 10pm. Room was clean to a high standard. Staff team very welcoming and friendly, fast check in, £10 charge if you check in before check in time, think this is fair. Overall was a good stay. 

Overall stay!

I booked here last minute as I wanted to visit Edinburgh and the hotels there were ridiculously priced due to the fringe. 
Parked the car for free 
 at Larbert station a few minutes from the Premier Inn and took the train into Edinburgh (40 mins). 
The premier inn has its own breakfast room which was lovely and the chef made eggs to order so they were very fresh . 
There is a pub serving food close by . Had a meal there one night which wasn’t the best but the price was low so didn’t expect too much. 
The premier inn itself was just like any other really , clean and comfortable but, there is no air con here. 
The staff were friendly especially the man who checked us in who was very helpful . 
The only thing that spoilt the first night was the family next door who let their kids play and shout until late with no consideration to other guests .  

Good location for sightseeing

We stayed at Premier Inn Falkirk (Larbert) to break up our 14 hr journey traveling to the Isle of Lewis. We needed a reasonably priced, decent sized family room so we could get a comfy night's sleep and some breakfast. And that's exactly what we got.
On arriving, there were plenty of parking spaces, though there were a few potholes. The receptionist on duty was friendly and check in was quick and easy. 
Our family room was clean and big enough for the 4 of us. Be warned - there's no air con in this hotel but there was a fan in the room and we all slept really well. 
We went to a local pub for dinner. Not sure if the hotel did evening meals or not.
Breakfast was excellent - a wide choice of continental breakfast items or cooked breakfast - all freshly made. We were spoiled for choice and our sons especially loved the choice. Such good value as well as the kids went free. And the staff doing breakfast were lovely too.
We weren't looking for a luxury stay with loads of facilities, what we wanted was a fuss-free, comfy night's sleep with friendly staff and a fab breakfast to set us up for a day of traveling, and that's just what we got.
Huge thanks to the staff at the hotel.

Great beds, big, clean room, lovely staff

Friendly staff, nice enough room. Lots of noise from room next door. Went on quite late. Hard pillows not to liking, tried alternative pillows also. Breakfast room ridiculously small for hotel. Fire alarm went off during breakfast also. Hit room,had to leave window open which was also noisy. Overall a cheap night away but i don't think wed stop again due to issues above
