Lovely stay, clean and tidy. Could do with repainting but the owners hospitality makes up for it. Room was spacious for the family too! Comfortable beds for all of us. 
The village itself was quiet with a short drive to Tenby town and surrounding areas.


Lovely little place

Myself and my partner went for lunch here today, we had the lasagne and lamb burger, food was amazing! Then we had a couple of games of pool a game of darts and a go on the slot machine, very friendly staff and very clean and tidy pub, plenty of parking, we definitely will be returning

Absolutely lovely

Rooms are recently refurbished, clean and modern. Bed was very comfortable. Our room was small, but was perfect for what we wanted, a base to explore the amazing area and attend the Laugharne weekend festival. The Staff were incredibly friendly and couldn't do enough for us.

if you can find the short cut, Laugharne square is only a five minute walk away. We will no doubt be back again.

Friendly staff made for a warm welcome

What a great little place highly recommended for food was amazing, staff friendly service great couldn't eat dessert so boxed to take away 👍😍but they looked delicious on the plate can not wait to return. Plus the chips was the best we have ever had 💖.

Valentines treat

I needed somewhere to stay for one night while visiting the Iron man event in Tenby.  The hotel was easy to find. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. My room was very clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was excellent.  The Carpenters is ideally situated if you want to visit locally, or go to the beach at Pendine. It was about a 20 minute rive to Tenby. I really enjoyed my stay, it was a everything I would expect.

A comfortable one night stay, with dog.

A great 3 night stay at this quaint B&B. Breakfast was superb each morning and the rooms were clean and spacious. Would love to stay again! Within walking distance of the castle and small town. A 3 mile drive to the beautiful beach town of Penzance. If you're looking for a quiet, clean spot in Wales this the place. The hosts were warm and friendly as well.

A Wonderful Stay in Laugharne

This is the second time we have eaten here. We came last year for dinner. This year we are staying just up the road at the Pods at Broadway - happy that the carpenters is walking distance. We had dinner last night. It wasn’t busy. They easily fit us in (4 adults, 1 child) we were waiting for one of our party to arrive when he finished work and the staff were happy to wait to take our order. As we had been before we knew what to expect and they didn’t disappoint. Once again the food was plentiful and delicious! It extremely well priced too. The service is attentive and polite. We will definitely be visiting again.

Great food and service

We went to The Carpenters Arms a few years ago and had a lovely meal. When we decided to return to Laugharne we chose to stay at the Carpenters Arms. The owners ad staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable, the food was very good and hot. 
We took are our dog with us and he was made to feel welcome and although not allowed in restaurant, when it came to breakfast you could leave the dog in your room or sit at the tables outside to eat breakfast, weather permitting. Had a great stay and would return if we are in the area again.

Our Visit

We popped into the Carpenter's without booking with a voucher from another business and were treated courteously and promptly. The staff member was very helpful in answering our questions and tried to do the best possible for us. We had 2 items from the main menu, which were both well-prepared and tasty. Forget your big chains, give your patronage to businesses like this; they try really hard to do their best and it's way better value - and food- than you get at chain venues (I won't mention names). Good pub grub in a clean, pleasant environment with good service.

Great service, reasonable prices

We have just spent two nights at the Carpenters Arms in Broadway, Laugharne.  This is our 3rd stay here and we would recommend it to everyone.  The rooms are spotlessly clean and very comfortable with en-suite facilities.  The breakfast is really nice (photo attached) and the food in the restaurant is superb (photo attached).  The portions are very generous so you definitely won’t leave hungry. Allison and Lee are great hosts and the local customers are very welcoming. The bar area is a nice relaxing place to eat. We have only eaten breakfast in the dining area but again this area is great for couples or families. We prefer to eat in the bar though.

We will definitely be back again.
