Always happy about Travelodge. Polite and  friendly staff, nice and clean bedrooms, prices on the budget. Highly recommended! I have been in Manchester, Leeds both are amazing. If you need a hotel for affordable price for business or just spent time with friends, partner go to Travelodge ❤️

Amazing service 

I really great Hotel. The staff were lovely and welcoming. Would definitely stay again and recommend. The hotel is clean, warm and welcoming. Lovely experience. Plenty of parking on site and localities.

a lovely stay

Fantastic little hotel, clean comfortable and amazing staff especially Adam. Doesn't have breakfast facilities but pointed us in the direction of a dab sandwich shop.  The room was spacious and comfy with a nice hot shower and very clean offering to top up any items if needed.

Excellent little place

Stayed here for 2 weeks due to a flood at home,from checking in all the staff have been very professional and so helpful. Big thanks to Rugile,Denise P,Thomas and the rest of the team who’s names I don’t know.

My Emergency accommodation experience.

Very comfortable room and all ammenities were available. Rebecca was on reception who was very polite and helpful. Also the night attendant helped with me my bags up the stairs to my room. Would definitely stay again

Me and partner came around 3 week ago  was visiting family near by  didn't wanna spend too much so  booked with travel lodge very reasonable in price was greeted by a lovely Young lady her was Nicola  she gave a lovely welcome and the room was lovely and clean   . Really comfy bed overall really pleased with everything we Will be back  for sure

Stayed about 2 weeks ago the receptionist Nicola greeted us with a very warm cheerful and friendly smile made us feel at ease and comfortable said if we needed anything at all to just let her no 10/10 for customer service .. the room was bright very clean and fresh we will be back :)

Excellent service throughout my stay would highly recommend this hotel to anyone whos in or around the area and looking for a comfortable relaxing stay. The breakfast box was lovely and there’s a bar and restaurant next door for entertainment overall 10/10 


Comfort

This travelodge is a 32 room with 2 accessible rooms, there is car parking with 3 disabled bays around site, next door is a Toby Carvery pub which currently closes at 8pm and due to staff shortage no longer serves Breakfast. 

The enterance to travelodge has stairs with a narrow ramp from side with a tight turning circle with a wooden post cutting access, there is a dropdown kirb but as found out non disabled Park in disabled bay then prevented its use. The travelodge has double doors which can be opened but are heavy into entrance with another double doors, there is an outdated sign informing disabled guests to use intercom or swipe card between 10pm and 7am - this site doesn't use cards as rooms still use keys.

A remote swab is used to open inner doors. The rooms are adequate sized and in the room I was in 101 it had a large low bed and access to both sides was possible, the fittings was adequate but dated with some minor damage but you expect that with wheelchair rooms . There were two pillows on bed and two more on a shelf which is too high for someone in a wheelchair to reach.

There are no electrical sockets by bed so if you need cpap or similar you would need to bring extension lead. No sockets have usb port.

The bed for me wasn't comfortable as could feel springs and could move them with my fingers on top of mattress would benefit from a mattress topper. 

Bathroom was clean and had a walk in shower, drop down shower chair fixed to wall , however the shower had been left at maximum point on riser so would be hard for a disabled person to reach.

The room has an electric heater which had brown marks looking like has overheated or someone put something on it that has burned. I turned off and opened window, the road outside is noisy all through the night. 

In my personal opinion it was adequate for a night  or two but any longer than I would struggle. 

However the two staff I met were really helpful and friendly. 

In the room was a kettle with tea and coffee and if you needed more you could get from reception. 

Tv with remote worked fine. The bed linen was clean novstains or tears. Had coat hangers but again high if you are in wheelchair.
