We stayed at the Westdale Guest house for three nights which cost us £135 so on average £45 per night which wasn't too bad considering the location as it's literally just around the corner from a beach and a few shops/restaurants. 
There is no designated car park for this guest house but we parked on the road where there are no restrictions and we never had a problem getting a space so that's always a bonus for a seaside guest house! 
Firstly... and everyone knows first impressions are everything... it just looks tired. Old and tired. It also says on a sign outside the guest house that it has a restaurant and does breakfast - which it doesn't. 
The guest house lobby smelt damp and as seen in pictures on yellow walls that it is indeed damp!! 
The room we stayed in which I was told was the deluxe room was the same.. had a weird musty smell to it and all the wallpaper was literally peeling or being put back together with tape! Most of the handles to the cupboard drawers just fell off when I went to open them.
The bathroom was lovely and big... it was clean and modern... toilet roll, soap and fresh towels were provided which was a locrly touch...the shower head holder is non adjustable so my partner had to crouch down to wash his hair.
The bed creaked every faint movement which led to restless nights so didn't sleep very well at all. There was a lipstick print on the duvet cover which wasn't a very nice welcome to be honest. 
It really does need some TLC... it's just such a shame because it looks like it has a lot of potential! I have worked in Hospitality for 8 years and this just shocked me that the managers are actually welcoming people into this!!  
I can say it was definitely an experience! But not one I'm ever willing to do again or recommend unfortunately!

In need of some TLC! 

We arrived after a 20 mile walk in the rain and were greatful to receive a lift from the centre to the hotel and advised this was the last season. We had booked a superior room for £45 so the value was amazing and the room was beautifuly decorated although it was obvious large item repairs were being overlooked. Good luck to owner in the future we had a great stay 

Shame it’s it’s last season 

I'm one who adapts to everything: I sleep anywhere I eat any food and I don't formalize myself unless they change towels every day. I actually find it an overly exaggerated habit. However, when I observe a substantial carelessness of my possessions and lack of dignity in proposing them, I can't help but report it. I wanted to spend little and I got the goal. 25e per head to sleep is a small expense. What's missing in this place is the dignity of the owner who is never present who doesn't respect the common rules of cleanliness for those who stay here: people who work here for long periods of time. I'd like to go home if they live sporadically like they do here.

Cost little is worth less

Looking at how this guest house is advertised is misleading.  There is no breakfast available, no bar or restaurant. 
It is in a good location but the place smells awful, so i can't understand why some people would give this a good rating. 
The place is run down, tired and in drastic need of major work. Not comfortable to stay in. 

Not impressed 

Not as advertised certainly been over star rated. faulsly advertised photos on site maybe photos from 10 years ago. 

Can not believe hotel sites allow an establishment like this to be sold to the public as it certainly should be condemned.

It needs a major refurbishment as bad damp ceilings falling in,cracking and wallpaper falling off with mould everywhere, skirting boards thick with dust & cobwebs, stained carpets.

Has to be the worst guest house we have stayed in.

Very unhygienic and the heating was set to a timer which came on for 10 mins then goes off, the water was warm only not hot.

On a plus side the towels and Cotton sheets were clean & smelt nice.

WARNING Be prepared to be disappointed

Absolutely horrendous and full of Poles who I assume treat it as a bed sit. Room was full of fleas and never stopped itching but was just glad my door remained intact during my stay. Owner told me it was very very run down but never believed it could be that bad! Absolutely disgusting and dangerous place to stay..... I'm sure the hostel would be a better alternative so stay away for your own health and safety.
