We booked 2 lodges  with hot tubs. The price included free WiFi and daily housekeeping if required. The lodges were exceptionally clean. The amenities on site were sufficient for our needs. Good shop on site reasonably priced goods. 

Great holiday

I recently had a disappointing experience at Grange Leisure Park in Mablethorpe. Despite the website advertising touring hard stands with electric hook-ups included, I was surprised to find out upon loosing power after 24 hrs, the electric hook-up was metered at £5.00 per night. This information was not disclosed on the advertisement from pitchup.com nor during check-in, leaving us unaware of the additional cost.

During our two-night stay, we enjoyed the site's amenities and spent money on drinks and meals. However, our experience took a turn for the worse when the power went out around 5.45/6.00 PM due to insufficient credit. Unfortunately, the reception was closed, and the bar informed us we had used up the £10.00 allocated to our stay, with the option to purchase additional credit at a minimum of £5.00.

Feeling outraged at the unexpected expenses, we requested a refund of our deposit and decided to leave that night, significantly impacting our weekend getaway. I doubt I'll receive a refund for the second day/night we didn't stay. I cannot recommend this site to others and plan to file a complaint with pitchup.com regarding the undisclosed and frustrating hidden charges. The experience left a sour taste, and the lack of transparency regarding fees is disappointing.

Stayed in carp lake lodge which included a hot tub-and Wi-Fi, everything was all well maintained. This is a nice peaceful park, ideal for families who don’t want all the noise and crowds of people on the larger parks, only this missing is a swimming pool but would definitely stay again

Would stay again 

We visited the park in August, during the school holidays and had a wonderful time. We used the park as a base, and used most of our time exploring Mablethorpe and other nearby places. The park doesn't have the level of facilities to be found at some of the big name parks in Mablethorpe, but it is so much better value! 

We stayed in a brand new platinum lodge with hot tub. The lodge had everything we needed and was in a lovely, quiet part of the park. The kids were never out of the hot tub!

The only negative is that our lodge seemed to be the only one that hadn't had a wi-fi router installed. I mentioned this to reception and they informed me that they would look to get sorted but would be unlikely to happen whilst we were there. Not a big deal but definitely needed mentioning. 

I got a phone call a week after returning home to say that I had been given a small refund as an apology for the wi-fi issues. I thought was a nice gesture.

Already booked to return again next year. 

Lovely park - excellent lodge

The grass pitches next to the aqua park were (unsurprisingly) water logged so we requested a gravel pitch instead. Toilet and shower blocks were passable on weekdays but were soon transformed into a disgusting state by Saturday morning. No hot water in one block and the other was left with blocked toilets and dirty shower floors, while some families dumped waste down the wrong drains outside. No barriers or security on the site means people can anonymously break or ruin the facilities without consequence, which could be solved by assigning keys or access fobs. Otherwise, the location itself is beautiful with a handy on-site shop while a brisk walk gets you Mablethorpe seafront via roadside paths. Wi-Fi isn't free but there is decent 5G coverage around the site, so stick with mobile data.

Visited Badgers Rest at Mablethorpe for Sunday lunch.

The restaurant is well presented a good space but lacked atmosphere.
The roast meal looked good but disappointing…the vegetables were COLD, carrots over cooked cauliflower cheese under cooked. Roast  potatoes were how ever spot on hot & crispy & tasty.
I have read a few reviews since and several people have commented on the poor meals. 
I hope someone takes notice and solves this issue or it won’t be-able to keep going in these tough times…. That would be a great shame.

Disappointing

Have just cited Badgers Barn with friends, would like to say how fantastic the service I received from Mr Floppy Hair (aka Jack) was. Hair Flixk was charming polite and entertaining,  he made my visit special

Stayed here this month ( October ) First impressions very clean and the touring facilities where lovely.
The only downside to our four day stay was the very rude bar manager who thought he was above his customers. 
We asked nicely if sky sports could be put on the lovely girl behind the bar put it on only for the manager telling her to turn it back to what it was on. Apparently it was family day that's why gangster rap was on! Hilarious. The weather was awful hardly anybody in.. I'm afraid I lost my temper with him and was told he wouldn't serve me again. To cut a long story short we went to complain about him the owner plus the site manager eventually come to speak to him... at this time half the game we wanted to watch had past. Another two families who are static owners on site weren't to happy either they wanted the football on to. It was eventually put on but what a lot of added stress just for his stubbornness. Would of normally thought of returning to this site but unfortunately we wouldn't because of this bar manager.

Touring pitch fully serviced

Been to this site several times now, twice this year, once in the glorious hot summer and now Oct this year. Well spread site, good entertainment for adults and kids every eve, arcades, Spar (shop), bar/restaurant and also a little cafe all on site. The restaurant (Badger Barn) does get very busy in the summer, always best to get there at 12pm if you are want lunch time food. They are also to pre order dinner time meals and have them for takeaways for u. The pizzas are so nice.  Vans are clean, up to date and all what you would expect for a caravan holiday (bring you own towels). Lodges are amazing and well above what we expected. They are very specious, hot tubs, tea, coffee, wifi, all towels provided. Bedrooms and really good sizes, some witb en suites. (Take toilet roll, hand soap, washing up liquid, sponge and hand towel)
Reception is good. Will help you out with every need. Fab with directions for places to visit close. 
A big Tesco superstore is close for food and you can drive to the coast for a Co-op or Lidl.
You can walk in to Mablethorpe but its a treck. Will take a good 30mins, especially with smaller kids. If you can drive, Maltby Le Marsh, Skeggy, local garden centre., Sutton on Sea and Louth and good places to go. Louth is a tiny village, sometimes has a market on, has lots of shops and a church where u can climb 100 steps to the top for a small charge (not great if u dont like small spaces though).
There are a few places you can order takeaways from but they and normally about an hour wait. They will ring you when they are almost on the site and you will have to meet them near reception to collect your order. There is a lovely restaurant called The Stables a 2min drive away. Breakfast there is amazing and a good price. Lunch/dinner is a tad more expensive though but brill if you need somewhere for the kids to play as they have a really good open grassed area to the back with kids play things and climbing frames.
Onsite I cant speak for the camping but looks like they are all facing the water park (which is on site) You can go on the water park but its priced separate from the site.
All in all, really fab place, highly recommend it. Will be back again next year.

Always brilliant, even when its cold!

Clean site with plenty to do in the pub/bar arcade etc.  Nearby places to visit for a day out, good for a weekend break for all ages, the site also has a very very well stocked shop with a cafe, which serves a good breakfast and other foods.
