Great location just outside Maidenhead; meadows and walking trails close by; delightful host in Deborah; lovely rooms and surrounds. Clean, comfortable and spacious.  All you need for a few relaxing days away.

Home away from home - in the country side!

Having toured the UK for ten days in January, going north to Edinburgh, our stays were 'mixed'. We come from Sydney. Some stays disappointed, all were 'budget conscious' and we didn't book B&B accommodation, as you take more risks....or so I thought! Turns out I was wrong. THIS B&B was perfect. Comfortable, spacious and well appointed rooms, with tasteful and modern furnishings; country-style breakfast delivered in a basket with fresh ingredients; and no intrusions at all, giving you a key to the front door, and plenty of parking in the grounds. Best of all? You are really in the country, with horses and fields surrounding you; yet so close to Marlow, the airport and the M4. AND it was what Real Estate Agents call "whisper quiet" - in this case genuinely so! The atmosphere is 'country house', and if you want a good pub there is one round the corner, and heaps of country lanes to walk. With four good-sized rooms on offer, one with a bath AND a shower, there is nothing missing. Plenty of hanging space, drawers, and lovely country air. Friendly host, who keeps out of the way, which we like. Suited us perfectly, and very well priced. Overall an EXCELLENT experience which we will recommend to all our friends Down Under.

Couple visiting from Sydney, 3 nights

I stayed for 5 nights and wished I could have stayed longer. The room was spacious, clean, fresh and had a country cottage ambience. It's just 10 minutes drive to Maidenhead Town Centre but you would think you were in the middle of the countryside. There is plenty of private off-road parking which can't be said for a lot of B&Bs in the area. The host is delightful and helpful.
If you feel like eating out without having to drive, the local pub is six miutes walk away, where good food is served.  Pinkneys Mews is a tranquil hide away and I highly recommend it as excellent value.

A tranquil hideaway only10 minutes drive to the Town Center

I booked three nights away hoping for some rest, peace and quiet and that is exactly what i got. The silence was outstanding! The location is wonderful for walks. The bedroom was immaculate and perfectly clean. I loved the breakfast in a basket, more than enough for breakfast. I would highly recommend Pinkneys court mews and would stay again.

Outstanding!

I stayed for a week in January and loved it. I stayed two years ago and had the same wonderful experience. This area of Maidenhead is scenic and the bed and breakfast itself is a renovated manor house, which is very tastefully decorated. The rooms are sparkling clean and the beds are very comfortable. There's no ambient noise, so it's easy to fall into a deep sleep and wake refreshed. This is excellent value for the pound or dollar.

Wonderful Second Stay at this Bed and Breakfast

We stayed for one night. The host was pleasant. Everything is ... ok. The decor not really to our taste, but people have different tastes. The breakfast is a bit disappointing. The continental style basket delivered to the door is a good idea but it could contain better items. A cafetière with some ground coffee (instead of instant) would be really very much appreciated. The orange juice is a bit nasty. Pillows are a bit on the hard side for us. Everything else was ok. 

Nice room. Could offer a little more.

Delightful

What a fantastic place to stay, in the middle of lush countryside is Pinkney Court mews, Deborah will tell you that her normal visitors are business people, well it's far more than that our room was very spacious fantastically appointed with all the amenities you will require, there is an added bonus , peace and quiet, No road or vehicle noise, if your in the area looking for somewhere to stay for the night or longer look no further this is the place for you,

A LITTLE GEM

Really enjoyed my stay here, some of the comfiest beds I've slept in for ages and I would recommend staying here highly. The business meeting I had near here was early wake up. And you didn't have to worry about waking up the other guests.

Amazing living quarters

After a couple of stays I rate this B&B highly, have booked ahead for several return visits, and will plan to do so further when requirements are confirmed for the months ahead. Rooms are clean and well furnished, décor is good (though some just-started loosening of paper on the sloping ceiling in one this week) and bathrooms have excellent digitally controlled showers.  Breakfast in a basket works well and provides a range of items to get you through the morning!

I would personally like a slightly bigger TV, with better sound (especially for the longer room/s), and not to have the light from the landing shining in round the slightly ill-fitting, characterful wooden door right next to the head of the bed in the most recently used room, but these are small considerations.  I have not found anywhere so pleasant to stay (at prices my moderate corporate allowances will afford) in the Maidenhead area.

Food at the nearby Pinkneys Arms is excellent, though at reassuringly 'not cheap (enough!)' prices; there are a number of similarly priced eating options in Cookham (appropriately, perhaps), with more to explore in Marlow, or around Maidenhead (less attractively).
