Lovely little studio cottage. Comfortable, clean and very cosy. It has everything you would need for a relaxing stay in a beautiful part of Scotland.  Only a stones throw from beautiful Camusdarroch beach. Thank you Maggie and Tom for a lovely stay!

Cross Bothy

We stayed in glenancross house for a week as a family of 5. It was well appointed and spacious and in an excellent location to explore the Highlands and small Islands. It's very close to beautiful beaches and excellent restaurants.

Lovely stay

I thought that this was a great place to stay. We had the room only option and had access to the large farmhouse kitchen. All the ingredients for breakfast were provided and coffee and tea. You could even make yourself a snack meal at any time. There was a lovely, comfortable lounge also for our use. The farmhouse is old and part of a steading that has been beautifully renovated. The best of all, is of course, Camusdarach Beach which is only a five minute walk from GlenanCross. This must be the best beach in the whole of Scotland. The owner, Tom, met us on arrival and was very friendly.

Great place to stay

My wife and I enjoyed two great nights made special because of the friendly hosts.Maggie and Tom were tremendous. We intend going back before the winter sets in.Arisaig is beautiful, the beach Camusdarach is one the most beautiful beaches that I have ever seen.

Quality relaxation

When we moved from mallaig to fort williams, we decided to stay for a night, just a few miles from mallaig port. the property is located in a quiet area where the coastal road crosses. from here there are easy trails that in a short time lead to the beautiful beaches of the area. the property looks good from the outside and the allocated room was quite spacious. it is a self-catering accommodation so guests, if they wish, can prepare meals in the common areas. the owner is very courteous and gives advice on where to eat and what to see. the price is adequate.

Near the beaches of Morar

We spent a lovely few days at Cross Cottage at Arisaig . Lovely hosts Tom and Maggie made us very welcome . The cottage was lovely with a nice wee garden out the back to sit in. Very near the beach just 5 mins walk . Hope we will be able to come back at another time .

Lovely break

This area is stunning and Glenancross is just 5 minutes walk through the dunes to Camusdarach Beach which has to be seen to be believed - like the Carribbean! Arisaig 4 miles down the lovely coast road is pretty with lovely coves.  I was enchanted by the whole area on my road trip of Scotland. Unfortunately I could only stay one night but that was enough to convince me to go back as soon as I can.  Ample parking, pretty gardens, huge kitchen you share with other guests and although classified as self-catering there is plenty of tea, coffee, bread etc, large sitting room. Tom & Maggie are really helpful and responded to a few questions I had immediately

Can't get closer to this amazing beach unless you sleep on it !

I had booked this B&B because it has so many good reviews. After spending a night there, these reviews are not understandable to me. Even when you come in, it smells like diesel oil. Everything is in a careless state, color is leafing out everywhere. In a community kitchen (where you have to make your SELF breakfast) the - by the way very nice - owner showed me the refrigerator, the contents of which everyone can use. What was inside? Just a can of butter! Great offer! And then the rooms: It may be that at so many of these small storage rooms nostalgic youth hostels have been born, I didn't have a better one. I had a credit card (70! £) and I didn't have to pay for it.

I can't recommend it!

It's a very large house with quality rooms, a very good breakfast, and the guests are very kind and open to you, and the area is gorgeous, and you have a private beach to enjoy a divine sunset.

Trés beautiful house in a beautiful area, very charming guests

Very pleasant accommodation, walking explanations, ferry schedules for the Isle of Skye, excellent and very cozy breakfast, several rooms upstairs but quiet, very well equipped. Ideal location for taking the ferry early in the morning. Very close to a splendid beach.
