This is a super bed & breakfast in a lovely location with excellent hosts and delicious breakfasts. We will certainly be staying again if we come back to the area for a break. A comfortable bed, an ensuite wet room with wide doors, which might make it suitable for a wheelchair user.  Comfortable chairs if you want to watch TV in the evening. Delicious breakfast which was cooked to order. Plenty of storage for clothes.

We have been there first time and really mesmerise by the view from garden .. the room was nice and clean .. the hosts were very warm and welcoming .. they made us really comfortable … breakfast was lovely .. all in all highly recommended…very peaceful and beautiful place to live 🥰

Heather is an amazing host. Friendly but professional, cannot do enough to make your stay as comfortable and homely as she can. The rooms are immaculately clean and are very well appointed and decorated. there is flat path (perfect for wheelchair use) directly from the large car park to the reception door and into the reception area. the two rooms we stayed in had wide doors and one of the bedrooms has a wet room style shower perfect for disabled guests. there is ample storage for clothes with large wardrobe and chests of drawers. The beds are beautifully comfortable. i would not hesitate recommending Higher Farm B&B to anyone for a stay. The exterior of the property is beautifully kept with wild flowers , farm animals close by. and beautiful views of the hills surrounding. Breakfast is absolutely delicious local produce and cooked perfectly by the host. 

A home from home 

The room was well set up with a first class en suite. We had an extensive welcome pack with plenty of coffee and tea etc. The instructions on arrival were very good and we appreciated the personal touch. The breakfast was first class… lovely dining facilities and beautiful views.

We stayed in the cutest little hut! Me and my sister were amazed! Such a lovely place for a little getaway! Heather was so so lovely too! Will definitely be staying here again! A handy little pub down the road for the evening. Heather cooked us a lovely veggie breakfast in the morning too!

We were at a wedding nearby and stayed here overnight. We were warmly welcomed by Heather and shown to our individual and gorgeous rooms. Nothing was too much trouble and I had a wonderful sleep that night in our comfy bed.  Heather and Neil provided an amazing and hearty breakfast the next morning and we didn’t want to leave. It was like stepping back in time right in the countryside and just so peaceful.  We are hoping to return so much ...

Wonderful stay in the heart of Cheshire

Stopped for one night as attending a wedding party at nearby Peckforton Castle.  Have a teenage son and we were able to book a separate room for him which he really appreciated.  This is an extremely comfortable B & B, decorated and furnished to a high standard. The B & B is located in a picturesque village and is convenient for Chester, wider Cheshire area and North East Wales.  Would highly recommend.

A special treat for one night

The views were spectacular the room was excellent and the bed was so comfy you couldn’t have wished for anything better The hosts Neil and Heather were excellent they made you feel so welcome and put you at ease from the start well done to both of you. If anybody is looking for a bed and breakfast this is a place to stay it is so convenient for Chester and North Wales  and there is a car park at the back and there is plenty of room. We shall definitely be back to see them our daughter has just moved nearby  Des jan
