Stayed for a weekend and the apartment is lovely. Barry really friendly and helpful. Good size apartment plenty of space to park, everything nice and clean, my husband and I would definitely stay here again.

Great Place

On arrival we were shown around and all ammenities were pointed out. There was Tea/Coffee supplied along with fresh milk. There is a choice of two bedrooms. A Twin or a Double. We stayed in the Twin room which is towards the rear of the proprerty. The beds were very comfortable and the room clean. There is a nice large lounge with TV and games. It is a short walk to the High Street and the Sea front. 
This is the first time that we have stayed at the 'Candlelight' (Self Catering) but should we visit Minehead again, then we would happily stay there again.

A comfortable stay

Me and my partner were down for the weekend to see family, and enjoy Dunster by Candlelight. This B&B had a perfect location, just set back from the bars and shops, and a 2 minute walk to the sea front and also the park and ride for Dunster. The rooms were very clean and had everything you would need. The staff were very welcoming and helpful for local information. The breakfast was cooked fresh to your liking, they only ask for a time you would like your breakfast so they can cook it fresh so it comes out nice and hot. Very nice B&B = would recommend to all.

That really sums it up. Absolutely spotless. Wonderful warm hosts. Hearty breakfast . Second visit for us. Will definitely be a third! Easy to park. Central location. The best in Minehead. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.


Simply superb!

Excellent choice this Victorian style b&b, typical English. Excellent cleanliness, location adjacent to the centre and the coast, custom-made breakfast (excellent especially hush browns), gentle and available owners.

B&B as in English tradition

Had an amazing stay here at the Candlelight B&B. Bed was comfortable and the room is lovely. 

Barry, had fitted us in at short notice, Very helpful and very welcoming. 

Breakfast was superb. 

Would come again. 

Lovely Stay

Lovely Bnb literally round the corner from the beach and a stone throw away from shops,harbour and pubs. Also a ten minute walk up to Butlins. very clean and upto date rooms which were very spacious. owners where very friendly and helpful
Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice from cereal to full English or salmon 
Will definitely go back.

Candlelight BnB

We stayed two nights at the end of August. Barry made us feel very welcome on arrival. He and Anna made sure that we were very well looked after. Each of the breakfast meals we had were exactly what we ordered and cooked to perfection. The room was very clean and bright and had all of the facilities we wanted.

Excellent Service. Highly Recommended

-Position: 7-8 minutes walk from everything (port, restaurants, beach), easy parking on the street. - Owners: very nice, very thoughtful, they also gave us tips for dinner; excellent hot breakfast prepared at the time by Berry, perfect new in shirt. Good choice of jam and tea. - Camera: adequate size (we were in three and we were comfortable), neat, but above all very clean! As soon as we entered the room we could smell the smell of clean from the bathroom. What, for a country where cleanliness is not understood as by us.

Stayed one night in August this year.Barry and Ana are lovely hosts.fab rooms and the breakfast was amazing!!!!!.car parking was great available outside the front of the property and around the back nice and safe.fresh milk available from fridge downstairs and loved the fact that the juices and yogurts were kept chilled in the fridge for you to have when you wanted during breakfast but believe me you won't have much room for toast the cooked breakfast was amazing.weve paid more at a b and b and had less service and worse quality of breakfast one of the best we've stayed in.great value for money
