We visited  this venue  for my Nephews Wedding. Which was a beautiful event. The whole day ran perfectly. We arrived at about 11.30 am for the ceremony to take place at 1.30 pm, giving us time to mingle with our family and the brides family and friends.
The ceremony was on time, and the room was beautiful, with perfect seating arrangements. The bride was happily surprised when she walked down the Isle to see her precious dog Penny meet her with her husband to be.

After a beautiful service , with lots of tears of happiness from all included, we moved downstairs  for photographs in the beautiful gardens, during which time Canapés were being served. Following this we moved to a lovely Marquee  where we enjoyed a lovely meal and listened to the speeches.
 
The whole day was beautiful and very relaxing, we had some time afterwards to either relax in our allocated rooms or to enjoy the grounds , or chill in the beautiful lounge and bar areas.

The evening was a fabulous night back to the Marquee, for fun and laughter all evening, with food being cooked outside and fires a glowing giving us the chance to either eat inside or out. What a fabulous and memorable day we all had. Thank you to the Bride and Groom for a fabulous day and for choosing this venue, all the staff were fabulous.

Wedding

Our wedding was everything I dreamed of and more. The team at Soughton Hall made everything so easy and effortless and all of our guests were so impressed with the venue. The team including cleaning and bar staff were attentive and nothing was too much trouble. I honestly could not have asked for a better day. Thank you so much

Fantastic Wedding

Daughter and her fiance's wedding in July. Lovely venue, staff really helpful during Ceremony and Reception. Wedding Breakfast excellent and superb staff service. Unfortunately one or two niggles: tea and coffee, which we paid extra for, were only luke warm; evening buffet was not served to guests on the marquee terrace. Breakfast the following morning for guests who had stayed in the Hall seemed very much an afterthought and frankly was poor - long waiting times for cooked breakfasts, continental breakfasts virtually non-existent as items "hadn't been delivered", tea and coffee again luke warm with guests returning their cups. Staff disorganised, though admittedly very tired (why no staff rotation from the previous evening?) Really embarrassing as guests had paid up to £170 for their rooms and breakfasts were very much inferior to those provided by cheaper national hotel chains. Wedding coordinator difficult to get hold of in the weeks before the wedding and long response times. Overall 4 stars because of the impressive venue and excellent Wedding Breakfast, but overnight accommodation is over-priced.

Summer Wedding day

What amazing venue for a wedding. My niece was married there it was very beautiful. The staff were very helpful and friendly . Grace the young lady serving the drinks  was lovely had a smile all day. Truely a lovely day.

Attended my nephews wedding, wow what a wonderful day. On the worst day for weather in years the staff here managed to turn a potential disaster in a marquee to a wonderful reception in the most beautiful dining room.  The food from the canapés to the main meal through to the finger food in the evening was simply stunning. The service from every single member of staff was faultless so friendly and attention to detail from the start of the day through to the evening was amazing. One member of staff whose name was Grace worked all day from 1pm till very late evening and when we went back on Saturday for breakfast she was still there smiling, a credit to your company. I must add the training your staff have received is an absolute credit to the management and team. 

Windy Wedding

My son and his fiance got married here and I can't rate it highly enough. From the start of the day through to the end, nothing was too much trouble. Every little detail was perfect. The bedrooms are out of this world. Fantastic. I highly, highly reccomend.

A Beautiful place to Marry

Wow! Where to begin? We recently got married at Soughton Hall and our wedding was a dream from start to finish thanks to everybody at Soughton Hall. We had originally booked to get married in Spain which was postponed 3 months before the original big day due to Covid and then cancelled the year after. After the cancelled wedding we decided to get married nearer to home. I searched for venues on the internet and as soon as we stumbled across Soughton Hall we knew it was the place we would get married. It was the only venue we organised to view in the UK, it was truly love at first sight. We only had 6 months to organise everything for our summer 2021 wedding but everything slotted into place so perfectly. 

My family and I absolutely loved our visits to Soughton Hall. From the original walk around to food tasting, we loved it all. Every time we drove down that truly majestic driveway, we fell in love with the place a little more. The hall itself and the grounds surrounding it are so beautiful, it is like something out of a fairytale. 

My bridal party and I had the opportunity to stay in The Lodge the night before which we absolutely loved. The welcome platter and bottle of prosecco was such a lovely touch! We moved into the main hall at 6am and had a lovely breakfast whilst we got ready. When the staff found out I was a vegetarian, they brought me up my own individual breakfast which was so kind of them.  So many of our guests commented on how perfect the day was. Many said they had never been to a wedding like ours which ran like clockwork. Everything was thought of and everybody was catered for. Soughton Hall deserves to be not only one of the top wedding venues in Wales but internationally renowned too. Everything about this venue is absolutely out of this world. 

Soughton Hall is a truly special venue in itself but truly what sets it apart from others is the attention to detail and the professionalism of all its staff. The customer service all of us received on our wedding day was absolutely incredible. From the greeting of our guests, to the canapes and welcome drinks, the amazing wedding breakfast served to the evening bbq and reception, everything was exceptional. Staff introduced themselves to guests who had specific allergies, Stephen was present throughout the whole day and the wedding coordinator Rachel was always there to guide us through every part of the wedding planning process and the wedding day itself.  Many of our guests identified a member of staff with short blonde hair (sorry we can't remember her name) for going above and beyond and Esther was amazing too. All the staff; from the servers to the evening bar staff were so friendly and welcoming to all our guests. Some of them were there to say goodnight at midnight and back to look after us at breakfast the following day. All the staff were so hard working and nothing was ever too much trouble for any of them. 

From the bottom of our hearts thank you to all the staff at Soughton Hall for making our wedding day, the happiest day of our lives. Please contact us if you ever have any Christmas/Valentine's day dinners, stays available at the lodge, we would love the opportunity to visit Soughton Hall again. It will forever be the most special place to us both.
