Weekend away

We stayed here for 4 nights in the caravan. A small holding just outside of Mold, the location is fantastic. It is peaceful, but not too far from the town or the numerous attractions of North Wales and Cheshire. I have never stayed in a caravan so clean. The caravan was very well equipped and spacious. Despite being a caravan, we felt it had a cottage feel to it. It felt very homely. Towels and bedding were both provided and there were plenty of spare towels if needed. Paola and Richard were excellent hosts, so friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. In fact, we ran out of trousers for our son who is potty training and they washed, dried them and brought them back to the caravan for us. The small play area near the caravan was perfect for our children and we liked how they could play from the view of the caravan. They loved seeing the animals too, and spotting the rabbits and chickens as we entered and left became quite the fun game for them. We loved our stay so much that we are already planning a return visit.

A fantastic stay in the caravan

If wanting to stay in the area then stay at Glan Llyn - Richard greeted us & we were made to feel welcome straight away. Stayed in The Sun room which had comfiest mattress ever, hamper full of goodies & an amazing view.
Richard & Paola are the perfect hosts & hope to return again! Thank you for helping us have a relaxing time :)

Mini break

We come here every year for the August bank holiday the views are just amazing the owners are lovely and they can’t make you feel welcome and comfortable enough. The amount of effort they put into your stay is excellent. They have a lovely farm which caters for everyone which includes their very own ice cream stall it’s really cute and tastes amazing! They also have a park with swings and a slide, plus they have a little ranch for the little ones where they can learn how to pet and look after the animals. They have horses a Lamar who we have Knick named Larry. Chickens, sheep and bees. The whole farm is surrounded by mountains and trees it’s a very beautiful place. The accommodation is stunning just like a home from home. The owners also give you a basket full of pastries and Jams which is lovely. We have stayed here now for the last 3 years, I would definitely recommend the beautiful farm. And pets are welcome!!

Love this place.

Richard and Paula were so welcoming and friendly and couldn’t do enough to make our short stay very enjoyable. We were staying the weekend to attend a nearby wedding but our stay was so much more than a bed for two nights! 
The homely lounge with warming log burner, the newly laid eggs from their chickens for breakfast ( as well as the orange juice freshly squeezed by Richard and every cereal, fruit and bread you could wish for) and an extremely comfortable bed made this a place we will definitely come back to when visiting this beautiful corner of Wales.

Mi casa es su casa!

We spent a week at Glan Llyn farmhouse at the end of October, while we explored North Wales.  We were made so very welcome by Richard & Paula.  Nothing was too much trouble - sharing their cosy, beautiful home with them and enjoying their company when we were ‘home’ each morning & evening. Richard would light the log burner for us to return to in the evenings, though the underfloor heating meant we were comfortable at all times. We helped ourselves to breakfast in the shared kitchen/dining area,with everything provided & more from strawberries to chocolate, green tea to fresh coffee of your choice. There were ‘free from’  alternatives if you have dietary needs like gluten free for instance. We were spoiled with freshly squeezed orange juice every morning - thank you Richard. Our bed was very comfortable and the en-suite shower/wet room just perfect, the fridge in our room was well stocked & an amazing hamper of food & fresh fruit available should we have wanted to eat in our room. The setting is beautiful & close to nearby beauty spots for walks & within easy driving of National trust properties, gardens, RSPB Conwy, Chester & Liverpool. The resident Llama & horses greeted us if we wandered down to the fields, buzzards soared overhead & a visiting flock of fieldfares one morning were a bonus.  We would highly recommend Glan Llyn.  A recent addition is a hot tub, linked to a separate area of the farmhouse, so worth enquiring when you book,if that is your thing!

Friendly & welcoming - a wonderful place to stay

Just come back from an amazing short break at the Glan Llyn Farm House. Beautiful setting and the owners were very welcoming and friendly. We stayed in the bungalow and even had a hamper pack waiting on arrival. The whole visit from start to finish was perfect. The site is brilliant for any young family. Our 3 kids (all 9 and below) loved the freedom of the grounds and the variety of animals found. Our kids are already missing "Larry" the llama.  Everything about this place was exceptional; the setting, the accommodation, the owners, the extra touches - we really couldn't fault anything. I have never wrote a Trip Advisor review before but after our visit felt the need to tell others about this lovely place. Definitely booking again soon.

Amazing Short Break !!!

Right off the bat, the only negative was that we only had three days to be here. Richard (his wife Paola we have unfortunately always missed to meet) is a very friendly gentleman who welcomed us very kindly. The building we were staying in was modern and individually decorated. Everything was tip-top clean, the bathroom or the bathrooms flawless. The facility is functional, with a well-equipped kitchen and (which is important) equipped with fast WiFi (WLAN). You can park right in front of the door and back to the terrace you can get a nice view of a three and on a greener hill. Ideal for a first coffee in the morning or late afternoon. After lunch, the Lama and the Lama also have a car park with a little kids on the farm.

Spent three marvellous days here

A place where you feel at ease immediately! Communication before arrival was simple, Richard and Paola are very friendly, sympathetic owners and always there when you need help or have a question. The cottage exceeds all expectations: everything is new, high-quality and fully equipped (great kitchen equipment, super barbecue, etc.); the interior and equipment have been carefully selected. Thanks to the quiet location on one side, but especially the comfortable beds, you sleep very well. The area is idyllic (looking at sheep/horse cattle, well-kept, beautiful garden) and a starting point for outings. Thanks to Richard and Paola, we can only recommend the various information here!

That's wonderful!

Unfortunately, we were here only one night - but we'll definitely stay here again when we're in Mold. We're idyllically quiet. We were greeted by Richard and Paola for a delicious piece of cake and tea and had a nice chat. The house is very old but the two of them have completely modernized and decorated it with love. Such a modern and tastefully decorated room is rarely found in the UK. We felt more like an exquisite little hotel than a B&B. We had the Rembrandt room on the ground floor and found class.
