Do not stay in the premiere lodge Morpeth. We stayed in room 6.
I should have guessed by the room number hanging off the door what was inside.
holes in the carpet on the stairs.
a punched holed in the bathroom door
the room smelt damp
second hand furniture stained and scratched.
The stool had paint drips down its legs.
chipped cups.
I have taken photos below.
We were only staying one night thank god.
The reception wasn't manned nor could we find the man who gave us the key.
it was disgusting

Do no stay at the premiere lodge at Morpeth

Very disappointing hotel. The room was clean, however furniture was very old, and not in a retro-chic way, carpets and curtains were thread bare. The room itself was like an 80s student bedsit.
Booking through the Premier Lodge website, you get the option of booking a cooked breakfast. Upon arrival, the management stated that they DO NOT offer ANY breakfast at all. Luckily there was a Morrisons cafe over the road.
Luckily for me this was only a one night stay. I would not go back 

Premier Lodge/ Morpeth Inn. Avoid.

No it’s not the Ritz.  The carpets are threadbare, the bathrooms are elderly and the pillows are truly awful - warned, I brought my own. Walls are paper thin and requests to keep tv noise levels down fell on deaf ears as far as my neighbour was concerned. Decor is tired to the point of exhaustion. BUT it’s very central, the bed was clean and comfy and there was plenty of hot water.

It’s not the Ritz.

Rooms are very very basic they do have tea and coffee and TV but no hairdryers  The noise from the road is terrible even if you have a room over the car park  The first double room we looked at stank of smoke and I had rung the property especially for ground floor rooms as we had a disabled person with us and I was assured that this would be possible however when we booked in all the rooms were up a flight of stair,  its was a good job that the person could just about manage the stairs because had it been someone wheelchair bound it would have been impossible to stay The only reason we did stay was because it was for one night and to late to try and find another ground floor room at another property My husband and I had to stay on another level which was so inconvenient for all of us  The 3 of us did not sleep well the disabled person had a sunken mattress and our pillows were so hard you couldn't rest your head on them   Would never stay here again 

Ridiculously expensive for such basic rooms and no breakfast

Friendly staff, clean room. I was concerned after reading so many negative comments here on trip advisor but I would certainly stay again. Room had everything you needed.

Heater, tea & coffee, large TV, towels, soap and shampoo, comfortable large bed.

Comfortable Nights Stay

Don't do it! The place is disgusting and more like a bail hostel.  We were given room 1. On walking up the stairs to our room, the carpet was thread bare and had holes in it. The room was terrible.  Dirty mattress, curtains and carpets. There was a crinkly plastic sheet on the mattress! The bathroom was very basic and no shower. We went for a drink and then decided to book another room somewhere else.  On going to collect our belongings it was apparent that room 1 was above the kitchen as there was a very strong smell of curry.  Cheap? Yes it was. So spend more somewhere else....you've been warned. ⚠️

Run away quickly!

After reading other reviews we were pleasantly surprised by our stay.  Perfect location with easy check in, free car park was ideal, clean and comfortable with a well stocked drinks tray, bath and shower with plenty of hot water. Corridors and cark park covered by CCTV so very secure. Would recommend and will use again when in the area. Also of note Morrisons store directly opposite does an excellent breakfast!
Not a criticism but on a personal note would have preferred another pillow, and do be patient with the hot water as it takes a while to come through, but fine when it does!

Better than expected!!

Well where do we start, bail hostel, immigration holding hotel, rent room by the hour springs to mind. Its smelly dingey small very small, even Bates Motel would have been a better stay. We walked into our room and walked out promptly to find a warm park bench  to sleep on. DO NOT USE THIS HOTEL  its cheap and for a reason.

Horrendous I cried

Shocking place, empty bedsit. Not even a TV. Dangerous doors , 3 of them leading into my room, one was direct access to outside, one was locked, and the other an old cellar.  Oh and by the way , good luck trying to get you're £50 deposit back the next day . Dodgy place, dodgy owners. Pay extra , stay somewhere better.

DONT STAY! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED ⚠️

Stayed here for 2 nights with 2 friends on are motorbike 2 of us stayed in room 23 2 singer beds and a double are friends stayed in a room with a double. I found ut good value for the price they charge OK the carpet was worn and could do with renewal but you have to take in to account its not a 4 star hotel there's  free parking at the back I would stay here again. If you are looking for downtown Abbey it's not for you but if looking for cheap and cheerful bargain break there's nothing wrong with the place I sometimes think some people are looking for champagne accommodation for  lemonade prices
