Fantastic night away with the wife, ideal location brilliant parking. Clean and more than friendly hosts. Could not ask for more.The room was spotless and tidy. Perfect location 2 minute walk into centre of Morpeth. The price you pay for this B&B is a bargain. Also includes full breakfast, which was unbelievable!! Fantastic establishment and will return. 

Night away

We had a very comfortable stay in this fabulous guesthouse, the hosts Julie & Keith were very helpful and also offered tea on arrival, we had a room to the rear of the property which overlooked the river, amazing view.
Breakfast was excellent with loads of choices, it filled us up for the Day.

Will definitely stay again.

Great guesthouse

As a family we were sadly attending a funeral up north and had been recommended The Stepping Stones Bed &Breakfast in Morpeth.
We had booked two double rooms for one night which included a full English breakfast.

On arrival we were greeted by Julie the owner and her husband Keith,and shown up to our lovely rooms. Julie made us feel so welcome and was just so hospitable after the long journey we had up from Manchester.

A parking pass was given to us to use on our visit and she recommended a couple of very local restaurants to eat.
We all retired early that night and enjoyed a very comfortable nights sleep.

Breakfast was extremely good. We had a huge choice of cereals, beautiful fresh fruits, yoghurts, toast and jams. The full English breakfast was fantastic and cooked to perfection and all served together on hot plates. Well done to Julie my poached egg was amazing 😉 

I will definitely be going back to stay at The Stepping Stones and would highly recommend it to anyone who is staying in Morpeth.

The Green Family

The Stepping Stones is conveniently situated near the centre of town - a short walk away. It is a traditional terraced house, deceptively larger than it appears on the outside. We were given a warm welcome (only staying one night) by our lovely and helpful hosts, which included tea and cake and help with our luggage and parking all sorted on the street outside. The room was large and comfortable with tea making facilities. Breakfast was very good, with plenty of choice. A good B&B and good value for money.

Lovely B&B

A comfortable weekend in a pleasant terraced house with a traditional feel. Our hosts were helpful in all respects, and tea and cake was offered frequently when we came in. Parking is not easy in that part of Morpeth, but our host sorted that out for us conveniently. The situation is handy for the town centre and river side walks (very nice). Good value, too.

Welcoming and helpful

Went on a walking trip with 4 others, and started in Morpeth, had a lovely stay here, nice comfortable rooms, lovely breakfast and great hosts. Close to nice bars and restaurants. Tea making facilities in the room and although the ensuite was small it was more than enough for two old boys sharing

Great B&B

I was given a very warm welcome along with a pot of coffee and biscuits to unwind with. The bedroom was large and very comfortable with seating area as well as a king size and single bed which was just perfect for me and I'd a great sleep!  The ensuite had a bath - plenty of hot water - as well as a shower over bath. Beautifully soft and fluffy large white towels! Breakfast had plenty of choice of fresh fruit, cereals, etc and I had the full English which was delicious.  I was only there for one night - got parked immediately outside their front door - and it was very convenient for the centre of Morpeth a few minutes walk away.  I would highly recommend this excellent Bed & breakfast.

Excellent Bed & Breakfast

Lovely refurbished room. Unfortunately the bed was a little soft and uncomfortable for me but I suppose that's personal choice. It was in a great location with friendly locals. Parking outside the hotel which was good. Massive excellently cooked and presented breakfast. Very good service and good value.

Friendly Welcome

my partner and i were working in morpeth on the friday so decided to arrive thursday night and stop over to make the trip a little more pleasant. We managed to park outside the property and after knocking we were greeted by the lovely owner Keith, with a lovely smile and warm welcome. We were offered a choice of two rooms and plumped for a slightly smaller room at the rear of the property as we were tired and thought it might be quieter. Keith was very helpful, and even moved his car to allow us to stay in his place while we were working, very kind gesture. 
After a night out in Morpeth we retired to our rooms, very clean and comfortable, nice bed linen, and a good hot shower, We both slept well and after getting ready for work, went to the breakfast room for some food, the affable keith arrived and took our order, i went for the full works and my better half had poached egg on toast, toast and tea arrived soon after came the brekkie, perfectly cooked, plentiful and very tasty, i demolished mine and it was great.
We departed with a nice send off from keith, all in all a top place to stay, thank you very much

BUSINESS TRIP

It's a very nice B&B. I can only recommend it to everyone! Very loving hosts who greeted me as a frozen motorcycle rider with warm tea!!!! Thank you very much for the best full English breakfast ever! GlG Frank
