The hotel is very convenient for access to the A1 road and to the Newark Show Ground. The bedroom is fresh and clean and it is such a comfy bed. The hotel is well served for food with a Beefeater and a McDonalds adjacent. Plenty of parking on site. A pleasure to stay here.

Shannon is an absolute hero, was super friendly at check in and really helpful when we needed a bit of assistance in the evening.  Convenient location for the wedding we were attending, there's a Beefeater next door which is an easy enough dinner.

Great staff, good times

Everything as expected at your regular Premier Inn apart from the McDonald's deliveries that can arrive at any time during the night and take around 90 minutes to conduct. Zero respect for sleeping customers. According to reception this can happen anytime through the night and there's nothing they can do.  My experience was to fall asleep at 930 to be awoken at 1030, to experience crashing and banging for the next 1.5 hours. This can happen up to 3am I'm lead to believe and there is nothing staff at Premier Inn can do. Avoid if you want to sleep - everything else standard.

Thank you premier inn team, esp Shannon, Kyle and Lorraine, (but not exclusively), you have been so helpful and kind.  We have been really supported while we have been sorting out some issues. Many thanks for your advice. Accommodation clean and we have been very pleased during our stay.

Brilliant team

Requested early check in so arrived just after 11am to be advised it was not available due to guests attending a wedding the evening before not wanting to check out. After travelling over 5 hours this was rather disappointing as we were unable to get freshened up or changed before attending the event we were in the area for. Then when we did check in later that evening found we only had 1 set of towels for a couple & again the excuse about the busy evening the evening before was given. My issue… not as the service should be granted on every occasion. We also went for breakfast upon arrival & this has gotten to be the worst Premier Inn breakfast we have ever experienced. Also the 1st time ever had we to pay upfront before being taken to our table. No orange juice, no muffins & a shortage of selection for everything else’s was shocking. The restaurant was dark & dingy & could certainly do with a refresh on the decor. This will definitely not be my choice of hotel or restaurant for future visits to Newark area. 

Not as good as other Premier Inns

The hotel is what you would expect from a Premier Inn, it was quiet, fairly large rooms and clean. However the staff were fantastic! We had several issues in our party all entirely our own doing however every member of staff we encountered went above and beyond to help us. They made what should have been several stressful situations, easy and no hassle. I can’t fault the customer service and would definitely stay again!

Amazing staff!

We were unable to log on to the internet on any device.  So no ability to send or receive messages, find out important information or watch streaming TV etc etc.

Approached the duty manager who was indifferent to the situation and took no action to fix the problem.

We put a man on the Moon over 50 years ago.  Getting internet in your room is clearly to much to expect.

No internet No interest

Myself & husband stayed on Saturday 9th September to celebrate a family birthday.The place & room were extremely clean & tidy,we stayed in annexe building which we were grateful for as the rooms had air conditioning unlike the rooms in the main building.
The check-in process was horrendous we waited 45 minutes,reception was badly managed & we felt sorry for Julia who was on her own.In front of us was an extremely large party of at least 20 people aswell as other guests,Julia dealt with the situation best she could but should not of been left alone to deal with that amount of guest booking in,management are aware of how many guest they have & know that 3pm check in time will be busy.Julia informed us that there had been an unforeseen emergency with a member of staff which left her alone even so I think it was disgusting  that she had been left alone not only did Julia deal with checking guest in but she also had to deal with room cards not working & having to reset them.I strongly believe Julia deserves double pay & an extra day off as she was doing the job of at least two people.

Horrendous check in time

The receptionist Lorraine has been extremely helpful and went above and beyond and wanted to say a big thank you for your help! You have been wonderful making a stressful situation so much less stress and I really appreciate it! Thanks Lorraine x

Great stay here and Kia and Vicky  were the best..what a special pair
After a very stressful breakdown on the motorway they found my son and I a room at 11:45 pm made it up for us and just showed empathy and support for our situation
I truly appreciate their kindness....thank you both so so much🙏
