Stayed 31 December overnight and Chris gave great service helping us back to the car with our luggage  a real credit to the hotel 
She went out of her way to help as she could see we're struggling with our cases and made sure we got safely on our way on New Year's day

Great staff service

We booked a family room but didn’t need the extra bed until the last minute when our plans changed at 11pm. Ash on reception, was very happy to help, he welcomed our daughter and made up the spare bed without a bother.

Poor quality of maintenance, cleanliness and customer service. 
The additional bed mattress was terrible and our child could not sleep properly. 
The room stank and had to ask for a different room which was relatively better but the bathroom was not very clean.

Excellent stay Mark and Megan made us feel really welcome from checking in to checking out..the room was spotless and warm as it was a really cold day..the Bamford was also spot on with the food emma on the bar made us feel very welcome will definitely be back

Great experience 

Evening meal - took 20 minutes to take order. Food quality was very poor. My son had a bland tasting burger with an overpowering sweet sauce. I had fish and chips which had obviously sat under a heater. The mushy peas had a hard skin on them. The batter was soggy and the fish was very strong tasting with its skin still on. Not value for money.

Comfortable hotel. Poor food.

A half and half hotel. Half of it is new with rooms and and a new reception and half of it is so very old.
I had an old room which was very tired. The carpet turned my feet black after an evening spent in my room barefoot. 
Bedding quality was awful both the pillow cases were stained and so was the duvet cover. 
Had dinner next door in the Beefeater and the food was pretty grim and service slow.
All in all not my favourite of premier inns this one I’m afraid

Mixture of new rooms and very old and tired rooms

Great place, friendly staff, clean room that was much better than I expected and also a really comfy bed. Slept well and it was surprisingly quiet seeing as it’s situated on such a busy road. Would highly recommend 

Surprisingly great for the money

We stayed for 3 nights, no complaints. Room was clean. It was quiet at night. The staff were extremely helpful. Chose not to pay for breakfast and paid extra for better and more WIFI.

You know what to expect with Premier Inn. Only gripe that with staying 3 nights it could have done with some modernization and furniture to may our stay better but then that's our individual situation.

USB chargers in the plug sockets would have helped. Having 1 comfy chair made it awkward. One of us would sit on the chair the other on the bed. The room could have done with another, as there was space  and a small table. T

If we are up this way again, would definitely stay here, there are plenty of different eateries and places to drink nearby.

Great stay

Good location for a hotel that’s so comfortable and value for money with staff that make your stay wonderful!  Bed comfy. Put a sign out for clean towels, coffee etc no problem was done when we returned to the room.  It’s not luxury, but the beds are very comfortable, and the rooms have everything you need for a few nights’ stay.

Great Stay

I found this place through work. My wife has family in Manchester so we decided to stay and enjoy Christmas with our in-laws. Some if the friendliest staff I have ever encountered. Great rooms for decent prices.
