Been coming here for over 10 years now and very sad to see it go. My wife and I were here on Saturday 28th to have a final drink and reminisced of all the good times we have had here, from me watching the Beijing Olympics opening ceremony due to dislocated shoulder whilst body boarding, to when we ordered food but the chef had  cut his finger off so we had to go without (oh how we laughed). We have had some fantastic times here and hope, when the redevelopment is all done, the new bar will be as good. Thanks to all the staff for their hard work over the years.

We have been visiting the Harlyn Inn for the last ten years when on holiday in Cornwall. Mostly for the Carvery on a Sunday but also for drinks in the evening too. We stay in a cottage within short walking distance so tend to visit annually. We were beyond gutted to learn on our most recent visit that it is shutting down permanently. We will miss our visits and would like to thank Kevin and all the staff for so many years of memories. We wish you all the very best for the future wherever it takes you. Such a loss to the area

Unfriendly staff who were squabbling with each other!  
They seem very bitter about the fact they are closing but then don’t seem to be doing anything which would suggest it would be a shame to close it. 

We only popped in for a drink, which we drank quickly and left!! 


It’s closing and it’s no wonder! 

Just back from a 2 night stay here, what a brilliant place, across the road from the beach,a really lovely room, top full English breakfast, and a lovely characterful bar and lounge, the staff were lovely and friendly, was sad to hear its closing in just a few weeks would definitely have come back, loved it.

Typical carvery overcooked meat boiled to death veg, Bar manager totally disinterested seems to have dragged the whole establishment into rapid decline in a short time Last visit until management change

Worst pub for miles

The room was extremely small, the bathroom was not functional, and we weren't ready to have breakfast before 8:30 because we had to leave early because of a train connection, and the restaurant area was cluttered, but the food was fine.

Low-friendly mass operation

We were here on April 15th and 16th. It's a beautiful place for easy walks with children. The hotel has a good, affordable restaurant and a nice, well-attended pub, but there's no noise in the rooms, breakfast is abundant, rooms are clean and tidy. The staff is very polite and what I think the owner is of infinite kindness. We left before breakfast started, so I ordered some slices of bread and marmalade to have breakfast on the road; I found myself holding a mega box with apples, yogurt, slices of bread, marmalades... GRAZIE!
