We had a wonderful stay at Muirholme. The room was very nice and the location is very convenient to the train station, which provides easy access to Glasgow. Also just a short walk to the Craig Dhu pub which is a great spot for dinner. Francesca is a fantastic host and provides a wonderful breakfast.

Wonderful Stay

One of the best.  Beautiful large room - exceptional bathroom. The entire facility is very gracious and comfortable.  Breakfast was extensive with many choices. The gardens are incredible and well tended. HIGHLY recommended

Personalized service, incredible breakfast

We can't speak more highly of Muirholm and our wonderful host, Francesca. The B&B is in Paisley with easy access to Glasgow by train and close to an excellent neighbourhood pub. The rooms are great and Francesca provides a beautiful breakfast.
Could not ask for more in a B&B. Terrific stay.

Great Introduction to Scotland

From the moment we arrived until the moment we left we were treated like special guests. Francesca is a marvellous hostess with a very warm welcome. The rooms (we travelled with a friend) were beautifully appointed and furnished. Breakfast was fantastic. Our stay was only for one night but we left feeling we had made a new friend. We would definitely stay at Muirholm again when in the area.

Fantastic Bed and Breakfast 

Francesca is the most gracious and helpful hostess you could ever expect. We chose to stay in Paisley for the family significance of the area. Paisley Abbey is well worth 2-3 hours of exploration, complete with free audio tour. The ladies in the Gift Shop were a delight and we met knowledgeable locals in the church itself. Historically a very interesting Abbey. We did spend one day in Glasgow itself on the Hop n Go bus. The station to use from Muirholm is Paisley Canal. There are four Paisley railway stations so be careful when getting on the return train.
     Note: if using GPS, Canal Station is also the name of a restaurant. The station is a 3 minute walk from there shot but not visible to the confused newcomer. Google 'Paisley Station' and  get a clear idea of where it is. 10 minute walk from Muirholme.
     :Also:  buy your train tickets online before you leave home. You will receive a code number in your confirmation email. You WILL need that code at Paisley Canal Station to tell the ticket machine to print out your tickets. Do not board the train without tickets.

Awesome 3 Night Stay - Superb B&B

We only stayed for one night before our flight home, but the facilities were beautiful, well-appointed, clean, and professional. Easy access to the airport. Our host (and the cleaning lady) were absolutely lovely. Unfortunately we had to leave for the airport before breakfast, so we can't speak to that, but we did agree that next time we're back in Scotland Muirholme would likely be our Glasgow home base.

We stayed at the Muirholm for 2 nights. Franchesca sets the standards high and lives up to them. Every aspect of our stay from cleanliness, friendliness, quality and preparation of breakfasts to the size and conditions of rooms including a large modern bathroom exceeded our expectations. 
This place deserves the full 5 as one the best places we have ever stayed at.
