I'm writing this message for second time. This was the worst Premier Inn I've stayed at. Been staying in Premier Inns over 20 years. Sadly now, Premier Inn have zero interest in customers or complaints.  I had to stay at South Mimms, after Premier Inn reservation team screwed up my booking to stay near Excel London, charging me £284 instead of £160, and wouldn't admit their error, saying the computer never says no. Post Office Horizon all over again. South Mimms was served well by most workers, but duty manager and assistant were truly awful, the assistant saying she would lie for him, if I made a complaint. My room wasn't cleaned, at all, in 4 nights stay. I wasn't able to order food, as no one picked up the phone, and as a type 1 diabetic, I have to eat on time.

The worst Premier Inn ever

Used this as easy access to London and couldn’t have been happier.  The staff were very friendly, helpful and made us feel welcome. Very clean and tidy
On the first evening we have a meal and drinks in the restaurant and everything was great value and tasty, as was breakfast too.
Would definitely stop here again 

Fabulous hotel

This hotel is really good, better than the standard premier inn.  The bed was comfy, the staff were friendly. Veryckean all the way through and a nice bar. We had breakfast which was ok, but no vegetarian option.offered , the beans, gash browns were cold and food very slow to be replenished 

Great hotel

We stayed here for 3 nights , it was clean and tidy and a great location if you don't want to stay in central London.The Gentleman who runs the Breakfast was excellent he kept everywhere clean and tidy and all breakfast food filled up.
The only thing against this hotel is the outside it looks very down at heel and the doors into the hotel didnt look like they had been cleaned since it had been built. So come on Premier In spend a little money on this place and make it a place the staff can be proud to work at.

Needs a spruce up but a good Hotel

Left trousers in wardrobe. Miraculously they have disappeared. Not happy and this has put me off of Premierinn

Lost property

Plenty of parking for vans and I found parking to be a good price of £15 for 3x nights, considering location. I did have issues with paying for parking though. The payment machine wouldn't accept my card and the website was saying the car park was full, even though it wasn't. The receptionist couldn't help as it was an external parking operator. In the end after 3x different cards the machine in the reception took payment. I own a premier inn hard pillow at home as I use Premier Inn a lot for work and find these the best for me, however there was no available hard pillows which did affect my sleep. The receptionist for some reason couldn't tell me if breakfast was on the booking (company booking) and that I had to wait until the morning when I asked at breakfast check in, which I found odd. The room needed a good hoover, it clearly hadn't been done. I found food in various places on the floor and also plastic pieces in the shower tray as well as hairs. Only good thing was the parking here.

Not the best but great parking

 The rooms are all on the one floor and there are around 350, I was in 336 which is like a mile away.

The room was cold, the heating didn’t work. The walk back to reception to raise the issue was not fun and they tried to switch it on twice with terrible respons that the heating system is old and takes a long time to get to my room.

After two trips back to reception and some one hour later I got very trickle heating.

Not enjoyable at all and the staff not helpful at all.

Terrible

Easy access to the university of Hertfordshire, 10-15 min drive. 
Clean and cosey 
Service station close by to grab anything needed or forgotten. 
Friendly staff and have stayed 3 times now. 
Car safe in the carpark and never felt threatened,  female travelling alone. 


University addentance, close and easy

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Wanted easy access to London, but be outside of London for some relaxing family time. Room was clean and comfy and bed allowed for a great night’s sleep. 
Meal deal excellent value and a good selection of food. Breakfast plentiful and excellent quality. 
Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. 
Easy to travel to Harry Potter world also. 
Highly recommend and we’ll be back! 

Good value, quality hotel

We stayed for three nights whilst visiting family and War of the World in London. The beds were comfy, the breakfast was great, the room temps were spot on and the TVs and in room facilities were just right. Is 100% stay again if the price match was less, the same or a little more than Travelodge who we stayed with a couple of nights later. Their rooms were tired and inferior on every level. We used to always use Travelodge but I’ll now be checking Premier Inn before I book.
