Book a room back in march for 5 night in August. I called a week before I travel to double-check. I was told there were no booking on my name. So I had to find a hotel/guest house in Redhill before I travel. Luckily, I found a doubleroom for me and my wife and daughter at travellodge (just behind the station).
However, I just received my credit card statement thsi week, and Lynwood guest house had debited 325 £ for the booking they had cancelled themselves.
I called already a couple of time, but I was told by the owner I am lying, I make it up.
I sent him my credit card statement and now I even does not pick up my call.
Very disgusted with Lynwood guest house. And still cannot understand their behaviour.

We should have taken notice of the reviews for this dreadful place, it really is as bad as it sounds.
The worst place to stay, in a terrible state, a real dump.
Don't expect breakfast, they don't do any

Horrible

I made a dreadful mistake by coming here. The building is a fire hazard with no fire
escape. Also I paid on arrival but no breakfast was offered although it had been
promised in the price. I will never return here again.  It spoilt my stay in England,
making a terrible impression. Dirty, no service, front door left open for hours and 
it stunk with rubbish bags left on the landing.

We're unlucky enough to book this place for one night in July. For £96 a night we expected something at least decent. This place was far from it. Despite the promise on booking of breakfast we were informed gruffly ' no breakfast'. Just shocking service and frankly false advertising. The room was of poor standard, the shared bathroom was filthy and lacking toilet roll. The building was shabby and the room was hot, the beds incredibly uncomfortable with springs sticking in your back. Please please save your money, don't go. You will regret it. 

Terrible

In the average B&Bs, it's clean (despite the typical carpet smell) and welcoming with the hospitality of the manager. The note of merit is in the size of the bathrooms: in room 1 it's claustrophobic, in room 7 it's very cold because it includes the safe exit of the floor that.... has no locks!
