No heating.
Very little toilet roll.
Not enough tea, sugar, milk.
Noisy from trains.
Rooms seem to have the bare minimum maintenance done in them nowadays. Since Covid no housekeeping is done during the stay either. Have to make numerous trips to reception for things you need.

Poor maintenance and housekeeping.

Had a bad experience in a travel lodge many years ago, didn’t think we would ever stay in one again but really was not disappointed this time around. We arrived and met Waine at reception. He was lovely so friendly and welcoming. He checked our room was ready as I thought I had done an early check in but hadn’t. We told him we had a wedding to go to and he couldn’t be more helpful. Within no time we was in our room. We were pleasantly surprised at how clean and comfortable our room was. The bed especially. We were in room 122 so it did overlook the train tracks, but we never heard a train once, so was very pleased about that. 
For the price, the ease when booking and checking in and out we were very happy with our stay, and would definitely use again.

Very friendly staff.

This hotel is conveniently situated next to the rail station. The Toby Carvery next door might also prove convenient, as this hotel has no restaurant and provides no meals except for a "breakfast box" which is not worth the £5.50 extra charge. Managers Chi Chi and Karen do a marvellous job managing this hotel. And that is everything good about it. It is next to a busy rail line so rooms are noisy with train noise from about 6am. Each room is secured with a lock and key (rather than a magnetic card), and for some reason staff members have no keys to the rooms. So although you can request fresh towels and tea & coffee sachets, in order to get your bin emptied and bed made, you must leave your key at Reception. And Reception is not always staffed, because this hotel is under-staffed. 

Great managers; poor otherwise

Recently stayed again at the Travelodge Redhill Redstone hill and once again had a lovely stay. Chi Chi and Katie and the staff were as helpful as ever and very welcoming as always and the room was as I have come to expect and clean and tidy and the shower was awesome. I’ve always liked the carvery and pub adjoining the hotel as you don’t have to worry about having a drink or two and having to drive, though the train station is a stones throw away to get you to London in twenty mins. I will be booking there again when I am next up and I have tried other places locally but they do not make you feel as welcome and that means a lot to me as a regular visitor. 

Always a great stay at Redhill Travelodge

We recently stayed at the Redhill Travelodge and what a great experience it was from checking in to departure it was nothing but exceptional staff amazing and room was spotless. Kate the Manager was so kind and made us feel welcome thank you everyone

Incredible Hotel

The Redstone Hill Travelodge is better value for money than the Redhill town centre Travelodge.  The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was comfortable. There was everything I needed for my stay.

Good place to stay

The people who manage and work here are amazing people. They go above and beyond to be friendly, helpful, and relaxed. As a current long term guest due to homelessness, I have felt nothing but gratitude towards the hotel staff for their understanding and kind nature. Anything you need doing, they are more than happy to help. I highly recommend this travelodge and much prefer this one to the one in redhill town centre; choose this one if you want a more chill vibe with friendly staff. 

Amazing Staff members go above and beyond here

This was by far one of the worst travelodge that I have stayed in and the pictures does not portray what this place is like.

1. No one at reception to check you in i had to wait 10 mins in the cold
2. Rundown and old ,Room smelled awful, heating was so warm it was a sauna which caused the smell to be stronger, tried opening the windows and noise on the road meant no sleep in so that one night no sleep.
3. Room was 107 i believe which meant going up two sets of stairs with luggage then to the room and the noise from the corridors went until until 2am in the morning, so what a dreadful night 

Then weirdly you get this weird pack of cornflakes, warm milk, crossaint in a break box like a school child with a pack juice no where to sit to have your breakfast after you collect it!

The workers was smoking between the reception, corridor and Toby carvery, Travelodge entrance that is just a no no, you should have a designated smoking area for staff not in front of the building where visitors have to arrive and stand and wait for reception to get back to get checked in!

What a poor setup and as a business traveller this is not a place i would recommend at all.

I will be contacting the lodge directly and asking for a refund because this was simply poor experience all together

Absolutely would not recommend for business travellers

Travelodge Redhill is just what you need, close by to the Train Station and a Toby next door. The hotel also has parking, don’t forget to register your vehicle. The team at this lodge were very welcoming and did everything they could to make my stay comfortable and relaxed. The room was clean comfortable and spacious. The new look is great…well done

Lovely stay staff welcoming good location to town and train station only walking distance comfy bed and clean rooms staff was always there when needing something good price a Toby roast next door which is separate from hotel
