Had a lovely couple of nights in this hotel , very clean and friendly, bed was amazing , best sleep ever . Staff work hard to please . Well done Kensington hotel , and thank you . See you soon for another stay.

Lovely hotel

the kensington hotel are  nice and polite the room are very clean not too hot and thebathroom is quite small but ok  and rachel the manager is kind and polite would deffo stay thier again the room is clean and tidy

over night stay

myself and my partner stayed at the hotel very nice room and very polite staff who checked us in and very helpful and polite and the room wasn't to hot or to cold it was just right and would stay again next year because it is clean and tidy and very maintained

overnight stay

We stayed here for 1 night and when we arrived Rachael couldn't have been a better host she was very nice and welcoming. The views from the room are great looking over the sea and it was very quite even being on the road. Although the room could do with an update it was very clean and the beds were very comfy.
The price we payed was good and matched what we received over great stay.

Over all very nice

Booked a family for one night when travelling with little ones on the train and found the location to be absolutely perfect..a short walk from the station, right by the part of beach with life guards and could see the seaquarium straight out from our window. The room was really big with 2 wonderful large bay windows. There was a bath which was great to cleanly children after the beach. The shower wasn't so good as we struggled to get the water anything warmer than tepid.

Yes this place is a bit tired and could definitely benefit from some work to smarten it up, however, for the price we paid, we could not have asked for more.

Not sure of the name of the lady I dealt with but she was always really friendly and helpful.

Wonderful little holiday all round and we would not hesitate to go back here.

Great location, spacious room and brilliant value.

As we could not leave for the hotel until my children had finished school, we would therefore be late to arrive at the hotel at approximately 10pm. Manager Rachel however never returned my request for late arrival which was sent to her 5 days prior to check-in date, fortunately I took the initiative to call her 1 day before checking in, this confirmed her poor managerial skill and attitude towards her customers. In the website she stated clearly to contact the hotel should customer arrive after the reception closing time of 20:30, which I did, she was absolutely stubborn, refusing to meet us (2 adults and 2 kids under 10 years old) at 10pm. She suggested we either arrive before 20:30 or cancel the booking. If I had not called the hotel to find out the poor service of the owner I could not have imagined the shock of arriving at the hotel at 10pm realising the hotel is locked, or to pay for the highly inflated price of last minute booking by cancelling this hotel as per her ignorant suggestion.

Please check out other reviews of this 'hotel', I would have given a rating of 0 if I had the option to do so. 

Many thanks to Dom at Hotels.com who also confirmed the attitude and dishonest of the hotel owner by phone, he managed to resolve my anger and anxiety, and paid for the excess to arrange for a 4 star hotel for us, which includes a swimming pool and breakfast! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. 

Good luck to those who ignore the many poor reviews of Kensington Hotel Rhyl. Please be cautious if you do not receive a reply from the owner. I do have snapshots of my one way email conversation with the owner, which evidenced that she had read the email but chose not to reply.

Poor management is an understatement

Booked here as a surprise for our Daughter.
The room was clean and comfortable, with tv, kettle ,tea and coffee and iron in the room. Towels and complimentary toiletries provided.
There is a lack of parking here but there are plenty of car parks close by to park in.
At the moment there are renovations taking place in the dining room so no breakfasts at the moment , but being so close to all the amenities there is no lack of places to eat.

Last minute surprise 

Had a great time staying at Kensington staff were lovely room was great not too hot just right had a good night sleep temp was just right in the room can come and go as we go would recommend people to go their

Stayed at the Kensington hotel rhyl had a brilliant time Rachel the boss of the hotel was amazing host and very polite and very well mannered me and my partner and my friend had a amazing time here slept very well and the room wasnt to warm and wasnt to cold and the temperature was just right in the room and a really nice hotel to visit and stay would reccomend it to anyone to stay there because Rachel the boss is a very kind and very nice person and always happy to help
