Horrible stay, staff members were rude on the front desk. They finally gave me the keys to the room after waiting 45 minutes due to high demands, this not acceptable as check in is at 3pm. I found out through workers discussing in the halls that there was rats in the bin area which is why the restaurant was shut for my period of my stay. The mugs in the room had dirt within them, clearly wasn’t checked properly and pillows were inside out. I wouldn’t suggest staying here ever again unless it’s necessary.

We've stayed here many times for visiting family. It's a good base and everything you would expect from a Premier Inn. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable, and although the hotel was full, the guests were well behaved and quiet. The staff were nice and friendly. We were upstairs, and I'd forgotten how creaky the floors were. However carefully you trod, the boards creaked noisily and I felt sorry for anyone below. We had the meal deal which is a good offer. The food in the evening was good. The breakfast was OK, but I much prefer a buffet. We had to wait 25 minutes for the hot food to come out which is no good if you have a deadline.

A pleasant stay.

It's a Premier Inn. A friendly team of staff, comfy bed, hot shower and great breakfast. Minor issues immediately resolved by the staff. All for a bargain price. I will return for future family visits. 

Great stay

We have stayed at this hotel for many years but in this occasion we found the hotels cleanliness was not up to the standards we have previously experienced with someone else’s hair in the bed and the floors to be very dirty and grimy. These are not the standards we expected from the hotel.

Poor cleanliness

Just what you would expect. Very different service in the hotel (excellent) and restaurant (begrudging). Veggie food a little limited in range. Reception staff were kind and showed proper northern hosptality.

Christmas stay

Here for a family occasion only family room was good but double room was very bad all en-suite and double room needs upgrading and smells bad out in the corridors. Double room en-suite all cracks everywhere. 

Bad experience

Relaxing hotel, clean and tidy. Friendly staff. Ideal location for a trip to the Etihad to watch the football. Out of the busy city but in a prime location for Road and rail access. Highly recommended. 

Comfortable

We stayed here for one night and left early due to the smell in the room preferred to wait at the airport. The room stank of stale cigarette smoke and damp as did most of the building in the part we stayed in. The ceiling had large damp patches and water stains on the ceiling and the smell was just awful. Went and complained to the desk and no action taken re a different room or even some air freshener so we used our own from the car but did not last long. So very disappointed with the stay here not up to the basic standards 

Damp ceilings

Staff super friendly and helpful. Room serviced by Chantal very clean and well presented. Would definitely stay here again for work. Pub next door serving breakfast or if you want to grab something to eat or drink on the evening. Car park easily accessible.

Reception always manned should you require anything or have any issues.
Highly recommend breakfast.
Good value for money, great location base for travelling.
