I cannot say enough about Manordaf.  From the start the host and hostess are very welcoming.  The property is situated next to the river with the views of the countryside.  The rooms are well appointed, quiet and comfortable.  Breakfast was amazing!!!!!  We had one day here and the hosts were nice enough to suggest a quick loop route to see the coast, the villages and countryside.  We are looking forward to our next visit.  Thank you Manordaf for a lovely visit to Wales.

Excellent Service and Comfortable Accommodations

We stayed here for 1 night whilst walking the Welsh coast path. The owners Steve and Jacqui were lovely and welcoming and very friendly. The shower was excellent and the room was clean spacious and comfortable! Breakfast was good too! Thankyou!

Great place!

On the Wales Coast Path. Friendly hosts, great facilities, comfy bed, lovely location. On a bus route so ideal for several stages of the Wales Coast Path. Wonderful choice for breakfast. Highly recommend.

Excellent accommodation

I stayed here in the single room earlier this year. On Booking.com the owners advertise that people can arrive before 9pm yet appeared to have a problem when I arrived at 8:30pm. The owners made out that I should be grateful to be there because normally the single room is very small and does not have much space but they have extended the area during Covid. I was grateful because single room normally both small and stuffy (I made great use of my travel fan- which I was very grateful to have with me).  I slept well and breakfast was good.

Rude guest house owners.

We stayed at Manordaf cottage in August, unfortunately the weather wasn’t brilliant but we found plenty to do in the local area. We were so lucky to have the comfortable accommodation and the hot tub to come home to at the end of the day and our dog, Merlin, enjoyed pottering around in the enclosed garden and going for walks along the river.
The accommodation had everything we needed, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, plenty of space for a family of four. 
We did find it a little chilly in the evening (because it was not great weather) but having the hot tub to hop into warmed us up! 
Steve and Jacqui were very welcoming and gave advice on a fantastic local dog walking beach. St Clears is a nice little town with a good pub and local shops with everything you need. A good base to travel around South Wales. Thank you Steve and Jacqui.

Manordaf b&b

Manordaf is under  new ownership since the beginning of August 2019.   Jacqui and Steve could not have been kinder or more helpful.  They welcomed both me and my dog warmly and were very helpful and generous.  Breakfast is delicious and plentiful.

Walking The Carmarthenshire Coastal Path St Clears was one of our stops. We were booked in at Manordaf B&B which was on route. We have stopped in many a B&B's and would just like to say that this one has been one of the best. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating and breakfast was excellent. I would certainly recommend this B&B.

Would have given this stay five stars had the mattress been better quality, and much to thin to support an adult Man of 6ft 2 inch frame & build. i ve never stayed anywhere, where you could feel the slats on the bed through the mattress?! Also the edge of the frame when you rolled over or got up, thats NOT on! it made for a terrible nights sleep for my partner & me. Everthing else about the stay was great.but a good nights sleep is Absolute priority when staying at a B & B, surely? ,as it sets you up for the day.I noticed someone else commented on this back in August 2018,so I m not sure why it wasn t acted on?.We were not asked if we had a good nights sleep, so we didn't feel we could comment at the time, as i wasn't sure if criticism would be gratefully received? and then it would feel awkward for the rest of the stay, so we left it.But honestly take a leaf out of the Premier inns book, and get some top quality mattresses for the guests beds, as its a shame that otherwise this will be their lasting memory of their stay.

Attention Needed to Bed

The self-catering cottage is in the grounds of Manordaf B&B. 
We received a warm and friendly welcome from Bev and Ali on arrival. They talked us through relevant points and then left us to enjoy our break. They struck the perfect balance of leaving us to enjoy our break and being on hand when needed.
The cottage itself has everything you need for your break and features two bedrooms with excellent bedding. The kitchen is compact and well equipped with everything you need. The shower wet room is clean and has constant hot water. The decking area outside the cottage is a sun trap and is perfect for relaxing at any time of day.
The cottage is well placed for visits to local towns and attractions such as Laugharne, Lamphey, Saundersfoot, Tenby and Pembroke.
This is a great cottage with great hosts and is well worth a visit.
