Well what can I say.on the surface on arrival everything looked really nice.then we started noticing things.the dinning chairs looked like someone had had a dog in there as all the corner were chewed away badly.skirting boards were disgusting had not been cleaned for months.
Went into the bathroom to have a shower.the grime and mould and dirt was rather shocking.the track the shower door was on was behond dirty.the trim on the outside of the shower was hanging off.even the products in the bathroom to clean yourself with were disgustingly dirty.the middle of the sink was cracked and when the plug was in the water slowly ran out.also the shower head was full of limescale.
The pathetic excuse I got was the cleaners didn't have time.we are in the middle of a pandemic with COVID all over the place and the cleaners didn't have time .the dirt in this place was not the cleaners didn't have time.it had not been cleaned for months as you people will see when I add the photos. photos don't tell you anything but the truth.
I was told the bathroom was down for a refurb in February and the chairs to be changed.lets see if that happens or has it been done as my review is late as I have been overseas for a while.
I have tried a few times to upload the pictures for people to see but it comes up with errors constantly

Very disappointed

I stayed at Vivo for work in the months of April and May 2021. There was lots of us staying here and Jo was very accommodating. The apartments themselves are beautiful. I would recommend staying at Vivo if you are working in Leeds, Bradford or Saltaire.

Great place to stay

What a fantastic place to stay. I was working in the center of Bradford for a few weeks and it was so comforting to come back to such a beautiful well kept apartment. 
The grounds were lovely and the staff were all so welcoming and extremely helpful.
It is definitely a place you could go for work or pleasure and caters very well for families too.

Will defo be back for.

What a beautiful place to stay

I loved staying at Vivo recently for work, a great location, facilities and a friendly community. The apartment was fully equipped with comfy bedding and impeccably serviced. Jo is wonderful and has been fantastic in reuniting me with belongings I inadvertently left behind.
Am hoping to be back before too long for a holiday to explore the area further.  Thanks so much

Fabulous home from home

The apartments are lovely and well equipped.  They are well looked after and Jo cannot do enough for you. There is a bar and restaurant on site and it is within walking distance to the train station with quick and easy access into leeds. I would highly recommend these apartments if you are travelling to Bradford,Leeds or surrounding areas. I stayed for 10weeks for a course and it really was like a home from home. I couldn't fault it at all.

Service with a smile

I have been stopping at vivo since March (with a slight break in the middle). I have stayed in both 2 bed flat and 2 bed duplex.

Both apartments are of the highest standard, comfortable, well furnished, TV, microwave, full kitchen and plush furnishings.

The apartments are spotlessly clean with good quality bedding and towels.

The location is perfect for Bradford city plus if visiting surrounding countryside.

The apartments are covered by 24 hour security that is gated at night. The apartments are located in a spacious complex with green areas, balconies and secure car parking.

The staff are warm and friendly and nothing is too much trouble.

Excellent - all the amenities of home but not at home!

Stayed here during the week for a 10 week training course.  Fabulous apartments which made the whole experience much better than staying in a hotel.  Flats cleaned thoroughly every week and all needs catered for.  All queries I had were dealt with very promptly by Jo and team.  My apartment was stunning with lovely views which I now miss!  Plus right beside canals and river for runs / walks.  Due to Covid and working hours did not really get to enjoy the bar, gym and yoga offer but plan to on return.  Thanks to Jo and team for making this a great place to stay. Jo

Gorgeous Home from Home

I have been staying at Vivo Shipley throughout the year for work and it is by far the best place I’ve stayed. A real home from home, the apartments are well kept, comfortable and have all you could possibly need. A lovely living space, fully equipped kitchen and dining area, wonderful comfy beds, bathrooms with amenities. The breakfast package they leave for you had a lovely selection of cereals along with bread, jams, butter, milk and juice - a great little touch! Parking and wifi are available on site, a nice added bonus. 

The on site gym (and tennis courts during the summer) is great and the bar is well priced for both food and drink should you fancy a night off. The food is very well cooked and there’s a good selection to choose from. 

Finally Jo and Jemma are great to deal with and really care that their guests have a great stay. I look forward to seeing them again in January. 

I have recommend these apartments to colleagues, friends and family and I can say that whenever I’m in the area I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else!!

I have stayed at Vivo apartments many times this year and always receive a warm welcome from Jo and Gemma! 
The apartments are well decorated, spotless, and fitted with all the essentials and more such as a dishwasher and washing machine. 
The complimentary breakfast pack includes plenty of cereals, jams, milk and bread.
There are also complimentary toiletries in the bathroom and there is always hot running water!  
Onsite WiFi, parking and gym is a massive bonus. As is the bar/restaurant which is both reasonable and serves large portions.
Really does feel like a home from home. I have recommended these apartments countless times to others and wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else when visiting the area. Looking forward to seeing Jo, Gemma and the team in the New Year. 



Highly recommend

Wonderful place, clean, accommodating and a home away from home! Have stayed here several times now and have always thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The amenities are second to none and everything you desire is available on site. The staff are always pleasant and welcoming and can’t thank them enough for making my stay stress-free! Would not hesitate to recommend this accommodation to others.
