Tim and Lizzi are fabulous hosts at The Old Parsonage.   They are both full of local knowledge about the best places to see and visit.   The room was very comfortable,  amazing bed, pillows and the softest dressing gowns. Thank you for a great stay. 

A gem of a B&B, a must to visit, definitely worth the 5 stars.  

Hands down the best bed n breakfast we have ever stayed in, if you are looking for the personal touch you get it in abundance here. From the moment we arrived Tim made us feel welcome and give us great advice on local attractions and best places to eat, Izzy cooked the best breakfast we have had in a b n b and offered plenty of lovely conversation, it was great to hear how the idea of the old parsonage came about and the exciting times the future holds for this lovely family. Thank you once again for a lovely stay and good luck in your future venture.

Simply the best

Lovely B&B in the heart of mevagissy, nice room and comfy bed, nothing was too much trouble for Izzi her breakfasts are fab and her life stories even better, oh and there’s parking for early bookers. The beach and all the restaurants and bars are only two minutes away.

We have stayed numerous times with Izzi and Tim . Why? Because you will simply not find a better place to stay in Cornwall if its in  a B&B you want. . Izzi is the  most welcoming friendly lady , a little pocket rocket . She chats  and chats and is so informative of the area and will help in any way she can. The rooms are beautiful and spotlessly clean with all you could wish for. Like a home from home. And as for the breakfasts..... OMG they will fill you up for the day. Amazing home cooked food all fresh from local suppliers.  We wouldn't stay anywhere else.

The Best Ever B&B you will ever stay in!

My wife and I had a wonderful time staying at The Old Parsonage in beautiful Mevagissey.
Tium and Izzi are ideal hosts, full of good advice and local knowledge and I would definitely recommend Izzy’s breakfasts.
Just a short walk into town and with on site parking we would certainly stay here again.

Perfect Cornish Break

I had a lovely stay at the old parsonage. Isa and Tim are fantastic hosts. The breakfasts were fabulous. A combination of Cornish and Polish. With blueberry muffins as a special extra.
I would certainly put a stay here on my wish list for my next trip to Cornwall.

Birthday bash

The Old Parsonage Hotel is a true hidden Cornish gem.
 Izzi and Tim, the owners, are the soul of the place and they do everything with love and passion. Izzi positively surprised us after the first few minutes of meeting her, wow, so much positive energy. As soon as you enter the place, you can feel all the love that she and her family have put into every detail of that place. Elegant interiors, wooden furniture, very comfortable beds, it is everything you need when you escape to brake. It feels like home, as if you have visited your grandmother. No matter what you enjoy, there will be something that catches your eye, whether it's a plant, a book, or just the amazing positive vibe of the place. Everything is designed to make you feel welcome, not because it's her business but because it comes from passion. 
Breakfast was kind of an experience in itself. You will share a table with other guests. At first you might feel a bit awkward, but then you found out that other guests are actually nice people, they all tell different stories, we laughed a lot. After the first breakfast we made new friends. Every day, despite our packed plan to see Cornwall, we stayed longer at the dining table, just because it was so much fun. Breakfast is varied and creative, including delicious flavors from Poland and the UK. The elegant dining room offers a perfect environment for spontaneous and engaging conversations with other people. 
It was definitely the best place booked through Airbnb that I have ever done. Just check it out for yourself.

The Old Parsonage Hotel is a true hidden Cornish gem.

Hosts - Tim and Izzy, accommodation and food absolutely brilliant.  From when you walk in the front door to when you have to say goodbye everything was wonderful.  We really can't find any fault with this lovely B&B.
Tim, bless him booked tickets for the Eden project in advance for us, made wonderful suggestions of places to eat in the village - all of which were great.  NB. Do book places to eat in advance - they are popular and like a lot of places in Cornwall don't have enough staff to cope with all of us tourists.
Our bedroom was spotless, lovely little touches that show they are thinking of how best to serve and keep their guests happy i.e. bottles of fresh water to use anytime in the dining room.  Then the little birthday cake for the boss on Saturday morning!
Please, don't book anywhere else in this village, you won't be disappointed.

Super hospitable couple. It doesn’t feel like a host/customer relationship. It feels like you’ve bumped into an old primary school friend you haven’t seen in donkeys years.
Izzy took the time to get to know both myself and my partner, recommended spots according to our conversation. Nothing felt forced or ‘sold’ to us in the recommendations. Their Local knowledge is superb, which allowed a fantastic beach trip, and a lot of time saved with a simple parking ‘hack’.
Other guests took up their recommendations for places to eat and, evidently, those were spot on aswell. It felt like they would not just bend over backwards to help, they would go to contortionist school! The rooms were clean and relatively private, incredibly comfortable and inviting. Breakfast was a big highlight so deffo opt for that! Daily specials on top of the usual flair. Lots of local produce is apparent, dining room decor was spot on, and they really fostered relationships between sets of guests, so everything felt incredibly cosy!
Will definitely be using this as a base to explore south and west Cornwall in the future. 

If you are an antisocial person who just wants a serious, private sojourn, with no interaction, and rubbish food, probably best look elsewhere.    If you want to make a friend or two and discover as much as you can about the surrounding area whilst devouring platefuls of delicious fare. This is the place for you.

Izzy and Tim’s excellent adventure!

Izzy and Tim perfect host could not do enough for us,my party booked the whole Bxb.all rooms were fantastic with very comfy beds and bedding.all amenities you need in rooms including dressing gowns.breakfast was amazing especially izzys special.bxb in a very quite area but perfect to get to town and harbour 3 mins walk.can recommend this bxb to all.the best I have stayed in.hope to return soon 😀😀😀
