I recently stayed at the Stone's Throw Cottage B&B in the "Blue Room".  Fran was very welcoming and helpful.  Bringing a "breakfast basket" to the room was unique but worked out well for me as I was travelling solo.  I wasn't expecting a bathroom and toilet separate from the room but as it was a private bathroom exclusively for my use, it worked out fine.  The room was clean and comfortable and I has an enjoyable stay.  I wouldn't hesitate returning to stay there!  Thank you Fran for your hospitality! 

A great stay at Stone's Throw Cottage B&B

Fabulous stay in this lovely cottage. It is a literally a stones throw from everything in Mevagissy, but quiet at night even with the window open. Fran serves a delicious breakfast on the room precisely timed from when you have ordered it. Small details have been carefully thought through and made our stay very comfortable. Yes, space is limited and the shower room small, but it is a cottage after all! We would definitely come here again.

Fabulous accommodation in the heart of Mevagissy

If you're going to stay anywhere in Mevagissey, try and stay here, the place is a sheer delight. Supremely comfortable rooms, wonderful service, a wonderful place to relax and unwind while you're exploring Mevagissey and this particular part of Cornwall. The bed in the double room is the most comfortable bed in the world and we would travel down to Meva again just for the bed alone, but it's also spacious with a very atmospheric view over the main street and over the rooftops out to sea. It's an absolute haven, a wonderful retreat from the hustle and bustle of the wider world.

A sheer delight staying at Stone's Throw Cottage.

The owner Fran was wonderful to deal with before and during our stay for 4 nights. Nothing was too much trouble. Bed was large and comfortable. Bathroom was 'tight' but manageable for two smaller people like us. Stairway was also steep/narrow but this is an old  building so no one should expect anything different. Breakfast options were very good and served in the room. The location is right in the middle of the town - literally on the main street (narrow lane) but quiet. Great restaurants and pub nearby, cool little shops, great atmosphere with the harbor 100 yards away. Parking (concession rate) is in Willow Car Park just before the main town and short walk away, suggest you don't try and bring the vehicle down the main street; park and wheel your luggage. Would definitely stay here again as the B&B is awesome, the town is wonderful and a great location to explore Cornwall.

Wonderful stay in an awesome town

A fantastic B&B in a wonderful village. Great room, with excellent facilities, brilliant breakfast delivered to your room every morning. Located in the centre of the village near everything, it’s just a one minute walk to the harbour. Fran was an excellent host!

Great B&B!

Fran quesined us on our order for breakfast .made to feel like we were greedy..every thing we ordered unfortunately had cat hairs on it ..had a shower and had a panic attack due to the fact the shower door was put on the wrong way and had to get my partner to help me out of the shower ..
Whilst in our room we had a whiff of sewage.so we purchased from one of the local gift shops some fragrant cones to mask the smell ..I unfortunately fell ill on one day of our stay ..fran was insistent that we answer the door ..very rude ..fridays and Saturdays are very interesting you get to witness
 drug dealing from the cottage opposite . 
When we went to settle our bill.i thanked fran for a lovely stay ..I paid on my card .within 13 minutes the delightfull fran had taken £133 out of my account for apparently cigarette burns in her quilt cover ..very strange as my partner and I vape ..outside ..seriously avoid this place

I have stayed here several times now as love everything about it.  Fabulous location it literally is a Stone's Throw from everything, the harbour, shops, restaurants and Cornish pubs.
Fran the owner is extremely welcoming and kind, every detail has been thought of, love the water and milk fridge on the landing!

Very comfy bed and room is luxurious with a table and chair to eat the locally sourced breakfast, many choices on the menu which is brought up.by Fran in a hamper. It's also great to be able to take a takeaway back to as you have the table and chairs 

The whole accommodation is spotlessly clean, it's like home from home for me!

I'll be back in the Spring, can't wait.

Fantastic stay at Stone's throw

We stayed here for 3 nights in October and what a fantastic little gem .
As soon as Fran opened the door to us it felt like home , our room was very clean , smelt lovely and was tastefully decorated. 
Our bathroom was lovely and again very clean. 
The breakfast was out of this world with many delicious things in the menu… nothing was too much trouble for Fran . We have booked again for next year and recommend to many friends .

A little gem

Spent a couple of days in this lovely b & b, a mum and daughter trip, so a twin room. One of the best I have ever stayed in. Cleanliness, attention to detail, nothing was too much trouble..just a thoroughly lovely place to stay, we will be back

Delightful b & b

I defy anyone to find better value accommodation than this place. Fran is a warm, welcoming host and eager to please or help out with any difficulty. The rooms are clean, light and there is pretty much everything you will need for an enjoyable stay in this charming location. The breakfast can be as big or small as you want it to be and is always delicious. This is my third stay here and I can't wait to come back. Says it all really.
