Beautiful B&B, the room was stunning and of a very high quality. A lovely seating area in the room and a quality en-suite with shower. 
Breakfast was great, plenty of choice all of which was brought to the table and no self service. 
A great location, close to all the local amenities.

Great value B&B for couples/twin sharers.

This is an excellent small guest house, expertly run by Tracy and family and spotlessly clean. We stayed in the twin room which was large enough to have two easy chairs and a small side table, as well as a dressing table, bedside tables, very comfortable beds, en-suite with walk-in shower, and all the facilities you would expect in a 4star hotel room.  Breakfast choices included fresh fruit salad, a full English (superb sausage!) and a vegi option.  Only a 5 - 10 minute walk (including some steps) to the town centre and harbour but away from the hustle and bustle. Highly recommended.

Lovely BnB - Tracey and Lee were incredibly welcoming and friendly - I felt very comfortable staying here. The breakfast made fresh with local produce was delicious and the rooms are serviced daily to perfect standard- with tea station refreshed. Short walk into town, hotel is on a steep slope - but that's as expected anywhere in St Ives! I would really recommend staying here, if I get the opportunity to go to St Ives again, this is where I will book. 

Welcoming stay

We had a wonderful stay at Rivendell Guesthouse, waking up to the sea view each morning really set us up for the day as did the fabulous breakfast. 
Our room was very spacious, the bed was very comfortable and the whole house was tastfully decorated with style. 
Tracy was extremely friendly, helpful and professional. 
We would definitely recommend staying at Rivendell and hope to visit again ourselves.

Great location, quiet rooms, nice breakfast and lovely host.
Parking in front of the house was plenty and easy to coordinate.

Off season visit so was lovely and quiet. I was made to feel very welcome and I would highly recommend as a place to stay whilst exploring St ives and the wider Cornwall area.

Lovely!

The cosy but fully featured room was immaculate. Handy power points near the bed, usb charging points and a small but full featured bathroom. The owners had taken the opportunity to refresh the rooms which had been clearly done with love, forethought and great care. I was pleasantly surprised not to be able to hear other rooms which is a clever trick in a victorian house. 
The view from the room was stunning.  Overlooking the chocolate box town and harbour of St Ives with amazing sunsets, weather permitting. 
The lovely, friendly and very helpful owners are clearly experienced with a high quality breakfast made to order arriving hot and quickly.

Lovely room,  stunning view,  great breakfast

My wife and I stayed at this guest house last week for 3 nights (May 24th - 27th) and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
We received a warm welcome from Tracey upon arrival, and we had a twin room on the top floor, which was very nicely furnished, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was very tasty, using mostly local products, which I thought was excellent.  Location to the town and beach is very good, and if you travel by train, then its just a short walk to the guest house, although there are 4 parking spaces available. Tea and coffee facilities were available in the room, and were topped up every day.  All Covid precautions were in place and adhered to.  Would definitely recommend this guest house.  

A great stay

Just back after 3 days away. Beautiful guest house with brilliant location. Everywhere was so clean and covid friendly. Room was awesome. Gorgeous Seaview. There wasn't anything not to like about the place. Hopefully we will be able to return next year 

Amazing place

This B&B is perfect location, just outside of the centre so no noise, but also only a few minutes walk away. Also a two minute walk to the bus and train station. Tracy and Leigh were welcoming from the moment we arrived.

We stayed in Room 2 which has a gorgeous sea view. The room was clean, the ensuite and shower were good. The coffee/tea tray always restocked, the bed and especially were really comfortable. The room had everything you need for a comfortable stay! 

At breakfast Tracy and Leigh are always available to ask for anything, even just recommendations for the day, but always for refills etc. The breakfast was always made to a great standard and they have a good selection of choice.

Couldn't recommend this more, we are a couple in our early 20s, we had a lovely holiday full of walking and exploring the local area, but also visiting a lot of little pubs and eating lots of food. Lovely chilled out holiday (but do try to book any food and activities if you know what you want to do as due to the current situation we had issues with this) 

Tips to people thinking of visiting:
-Definitely try to book in at the Mermaid Inn, amazing food and lovely atmosphere!
-Sennen cove was a gorgeous beach
-Walking from Penzance to Mousehole was lovely and we stopped at a little pub the Red Lion on the way which had an amazing secret little beer garden tucked away.
