Stunning view from the bedroom/living room and lovely classic, modern, comfortable room with a separation wooden piece.
Passage has an area for drinks and the black and white posh squared tiles offset the area.

Sea Views from the living room. Beautiful flowers throughout the streets.

The night time bar and restaurant (opened time the public) is extravagant - lovely staff and attentive. From the front desk to the bar and waiters. 

We stayed in the room (first floor) front of house.

Large bed with quality mattress.

Breakfast was amazing.

I wish we stayed longer

We had a voucher to stay at the Gannet Inn and were told we had been up grade to a better room in the Atlanic and to have our meals at the Gannet. The room was excellent with sea views and could not be faulted and was possibly the best room we have stayed in in this country. However, this seemed a bit of a con when the rooms in the Atlantic seemed to be cheaper than the Gannet. Meals at the Gannet were OK but nothing special.

Very nice room

We actually wanted to book a break at the Gannet Inn, but the only sea view room they had left was in this, it's sister hotel. The room was exceptionally clean (newly refurbished) large, with a fantastic ocean view, and full of great amenities. Apart, from the addition of very friendly staff, that's about all that the Atlantic has in common with its more illustrious sister hotel.

The public areas of the Atlantic, despite redecoration, feel a little world weary and run down, it lacks the panache and style of its sister, The Gannet, but we're guessing this will come with time. Apart from the rooms, at present it does feel like a slightly tired, older annexe with a  lesser bar and no on site guest lounge etc.

The foregoing said, our room 'Dandelion' was immaculate and we'd stay here again for that reason and the parking, but the hotel itself is currently no great enticement.

Great Ocean View Room.......

A very comfortable and well decorated bedroom and bathroom. A delicious, copious and refined breakfast. A location very close to St. Ives and with a parking lot which is very important given the parking difficulties.

Very pleased with our stay. Lovely.  Plenty of parking available across road.  Beautiful spacious room with smart TV and full facilities. Understand some rooms still in process of refurbishment at mo. Bar downstairs but closed at around 1030ish so quiet for residents but bar available at Gannet Inn, two doors along road. Had meal at Gannet which was very good. Breakfast is served at Gannet Inn.  Very good buffet spread and cooked breakfast. Have use of spa facilities which are down the road towards the beach. Overall excellent stay. 

Fantastic place 

Arrived late on the train from London on a Friday night, were shown to our room by the lovely host who asked if we’d like to try and make last orders for dinner. 
Room was spotlessly clean with a huge and spotlessly clean bathroom (think has just been refurbished) & large bed
Breakfast was at the gannet next door but only a 30 metre walk away and no bother at all, large choice of options for breakfast and weekend papers. 
Would stay here again, highly recommended & always nice to have friendly hosts who make you feel at home

Beautiful rooms, lovely host and great breakfast

I was moved here from ‘the Gannet’ after having to change my date. I had to pay an admin fee so I was actually getting less for more money in effect. ROOM I thought the room was lovely - spacious and clean , well appointed and comfortable. There was no view , just a grotty flat roof but ok if you weren’t spending a lot of time there - could’ve been depressing if you were there for a few days and had to stay in. The toiletries were nice and there was some thoughtful details like lovely shortbread and bottled water .FOOD We took our meals at The Gannet next door but one.My daughter loved hers and my grandchildren just had pasta which they enjoyed- I wasn’t impressed with my vegetable grill which I found a bit unattractive and mushy. Breakfast was lovely with pastries, cereals fresh yoghurt and a lovely fresh fruits salad. There was also a menu to choose cooked items.FACILITIES at the carbis Bay Hotel were included and the spa included a lovely warm pool, hot jacuzzi ,amazing views and a cocktail! I think you’ll enjoy 😊 it

No great concerns - would book again

We went for dinner here and have to say that the food was really good. I had fish and chips. The chips were freshly cooked (not frozen), the batter was very crisp and the fish fresh and tasty. My husband had a steak and said it was one of the nicest steaks he's had. We would definitely eat here again.

Good Evening Meal

What an disgusting place this is. 
Having stayed at the luxury Carbis Bay hotel previously, I cannot believe this place is a sister hotel to it. 
I expected the brand to extend its quality to the Atlantic.
This however was so far from the truth.
Having secured a suite at the Atlantic via the Gannet ( another hotel belonging to the same group, you would think the staff would of warned us that it was in such a state 
It is unfinished, noisy (as it is on a main road), fifthy, scruffy and more comparable with a grotty B&B in Blackpool!
We had booked for 2 nights, we had to stay 1 night as we couldn’t find any alternative accommodation, but checked out before the 2 nd night.
Although the staff were extremely professional and understanding, we were unable to get our money back for the first night. I totally disputed that as I had already informed the reception staff after we checked in the the hotel was disgusting.
We were offered a voucher for a night at Carbis Bay , however this does not make up for the time it took us to travel to Cornwall for 1 night and our disappointment.
This place is a hostel with a sports bar with ridiculously expensive rooms.
Not finished, unsafe and not fit for purpose.
The photos show the terrace?? They also show the fifthy blood spattered area on the stairs outside our ‘suite’.
Photos of the windows with curtains drawn was to hide the sheer carnage and rubbish inside the hotel !!
I have never stayed anywhere like it and will not again!
Come on Carbis Bay  how can you possibly put paying guests in such a hovel !!!

For 3 nights with sea view & large comfortable room right at the top. Aromatherapy Associates complimentary packs, delicious home made shortbread in room. Great welcome from Keith, who looked after us from start to finish, nothing was too much trouble. Good Sports Bar with decent menu for bar snacks, Had some lovely fish & chips there. Parking is right opposite - easy to miss. Just down the lane to Carbis Bay Hotel Spa - all included.
