Town and St ives beach are walkable in 15-20 minutes 
Nice restaurants; Porthminster Kitchen is amazing star restaurant! 

All other places - within 15-30 minutes of St Ives 

Host Christine was excellent and gave us lovely recommendations in terms of places to visit 

I highly recommend this stay 
Tesco supermarket is nearby too

Spent three nights here while attending a wedding in Carbis Bay. 
Beautiful B and B which deserves 10/10 for cleanliness.  Nicely situated. 
Room well equipped 
Our host was very friendly and welcoming. 
Great  breakfast too.
Parking on site and excellent WiFi 
Would happily return here.

Stayed for the 4th time at count house, Geoff & Christine bend over backwards to make your stay has nice as possible, accommodation is spotlessly clean, the breakfast is first class (well done to chef Geoff) highly recommend

Had an amazing time here.  The owners are lovely and nothing is too much.  Breakfast was really nice each morning.  It is a bit of a walk to Saint Ives but there are local transport options.  We will definitely be back.

Saint Ives Stay

Every aspect of Count House is of the absolute highest standard. A beautiful property in a great location, with ample parking - which is very Important in St Ives! We were given the warmest of welcomes by Christine and Geoff on our arrival. Nothing was too much trouble for them at any stage of our visit. They are the perfect hosts! 
The rooms were clean and comfortable & the breakfasts were exceptional. What more could you ask. This is a property that I would happily recommend to anyone and I can guarantee that you will never find more friendly and accommodating hosts. They are definitely going on our Christmas card list!

Absolutely the best guest House we have ever stayed in!

Yet again this year we stopped at the count house B&B and we were not disappointed. A warm welcome waited for us. Rooms as normal spotless and the breakfast excellent in quality and taste.
We will be going back again next year. 

Hidden gem in st.ives

We thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay at Count House Cottage. 

Christine was very welcoming and attentive to requests and needs. She offers great information on a variety of local attractions.

We felt the B and B was a great position with ease to park and a walk downhill to St Ives or Carbis Bay.
It is also a great position to complete sections  of the SW  coastal path.

The front bedrooms offer a great view of the sea.

The whole B and B was immaculate and the breakfasts were very tasty, nothing being too much trouble.

We definitely will be returning.

Superb stay

As the title suggests my wife and I have now stayed at this lovely B&B four times, it really is that great. We have been staying in St. Ives nearly every year for sixty years now and this is by far the best B&B we have stayed at. The hosts Christine and Geoff always make us very welcome and nothing is too much trouble for them, even the current Covid situation did not deter them from giving first class service.  We have holidayed in other areas of the country but keep being drawn back to St. Ives as we love it so much. We are looking forward to our next holiday in Cornwall and will be booking a stay at this lovely B&B again as we know we will receive a wonderful welcome from the hosts.

We keep coming back

We spent 3 nights here, minimum stay. Greeted with a very warm welcome from Christine. the house and room were pristine.
Our room had a sea view, it was pretty and decorated with good taste. 
Tea and coffee making facilities were on hand, I was provided with a small jug of soya milk each day due to my diet. 
Breakfast was well presented and good quality.
The coastal walks into St Ives one way and Carbis Bay and beyond the other direction were challenging in parts, but well worth it for the stunning views.

Pretty room, lovely view

We did enjoy our stay here Christine and Geoff were very welcoming. Our room was very nice. modern and exceptionally clean with a lovely view over Carbis bay we had lovely thick blue towels to match the décor the shower was large so that was nice. There was a nice dining room again spotlessly clean. We had to order the day before and say what time we wanted to eat. The food was lovely. It would have been nice to have had some fruit. As we were there for 5 nights i found myself wishing there was something different to chose from maybe an omelette or fish which we had at another b&b we stayed at i did have croissants one morning they were straight from the oven and delicious. Overall we had a good stay we thought it was a little expensive though.
