Dont be put off by the low price.. Room is clean and tidy... Towel and soap.. Coffee making facilities in the room.. Plenty of plugs.. Bear in mind it's a university campus so no TV in the room.. Take a tablet as the free WiFi is more than capable.. Breakfast is really good... Both hot and cold food.. Honestly fantastic value for money

I enjoyed my stay at Willow Court. The room was clean and had a kettle and selection of teas and coffees. The rooms near mine were unoccupied - so I had a quiet stay.
In the shared Kitchen/Dining room, there was a television and a selection of cooking equipment - however, there were no kitchen staples. If you are planning on cooking you will need your own oil, salt and pepper.
The reception staff were friendly and check in and check out was easy.

Nice Stay

What a find !
Quiet, secluded, friendly welcoming, helpful staff, superb room, easily accessible, facilities on site, food and drink available, good breakfast choices. Easy access to the city and all the attractions in the area. I could not find a single fault and for B&B, the price was fabulous.
If you are going to be in Stirling, this is the place to stay !

Happy Highlander

We booked with a group of 50+ to Willow court. The rooms were decent, but quite hot and the beds were very uncomfortable with springs popping out. Plus of dorms... someone pulled the fire alarm at 2am and we were all evacuated when we had travel plans starting at 7am the next day. Kitchens were not stocked with equipment and we were constantly having to go down to ask for items. The front desk customer service was good though, they were always great to us, but that was the only plus. We tried to eat dinner at the cafe one night and waited over an hour for our food. It was not busy at all and we didn’t arrive until 7:30, and they brought all the food out at different times, some being 40 minutes apart. When we complained that we had a nine year old still waiting for food at 8:30 at night we were told that we could cancel the order or let her eat someone else’s food, and that in the future we should order out. The kicker was on our second last night at 10:15 we were told that they had messed up our reservation and we had 30 minutes to pack up and get out because someone else was coming in... they literally sent men into our room without knocking who were coming to pack up our stuff, we had young girls in the shower at the shower at the time!! They moved us to other dorms that were like dungeons... stains everywhere, smelt disgusting and one group complained of cobwebs and another of mouse droppings. Absolutely awful experience and terrible way to end our vacation. Beware before you book here... and triple confirm your reservation as head office does not seem to be overly competent

Terrible!

I’m writing this review at 23:29 as I’ve no chance of sleep. Booked in here for 2 more nights too. The noise is horrendous. Shouting and screaming outside the window which I’ve recorded. The doors are constantly opened and shut and they Echo right through the corridors. Didn’t get off to a good start with no tv in room (it’s in shared kitchen) which wasn’t clear on website. No toiletries or iron / ironing board. The springs are coming through mattress and it creaks like hell every time I move. I hope to upload a video of the noise. If they are going to rent out student accommodation then surely they can ask for some respect to the guests. The vending machine in reception is broken and they can’t refund money. It’s a nightmare. 

Absolutely horrendous 

Sure these are student flats but they are very clean and in good condition. Willow Court also has a bar and servery doing pizza and burgers in the evening and very good Scottish breakfast....including black pudding in the morning. So a great value venue if staying in Sterling in really nice grounds. A very pleasant surprise and stay

Great value with good facilities

Fresh, modern room, very clean. No TV but great WiFi. Ideal location not far from city but in lush parkland with top quality pool a 5min walk and included in price. Restaurant and bar well stocked and basic but very cheap. Breakfast adequate. 

Very good value, spotless

Clean, relatively comfortable double room with a bathroom and communal kitchen (unfortunately, not equipped so in the end quite useless - - at least we had somewhere to sit).

The location is great to see the monument, a short drive to the centre. 

Great budget accommodation 

This is located at the campus of Stirling University and serves as accommodation for its students. There is a parking right nearby the reception, which is wonderful and spares you from walking too much. Not to mention, there is wonderful nature surrounding the building (as well as the whole campus). 

At Willow Court, the receptionists are extremely friendly – especially the sweet lady who had a fan on, despite it being 18 degrees Celsius outdoors and raining – and also very helpful. Our room was very lush. It was an extravagant one for a student, although it didn’t have a TV.
It had everything else one needs to survive: a minimalistic bathroom, an overall comfortable bed despite it being a little hard and stringy, a large desk, and, of course, high speed wifi. 

Being in a room that students live in at university allowed me to get a feel for what it is like, and I also got a chance to see the kitchen that students share in their areas! It was no disappointment! On the contrary, I could totally imagine myself cooking there, especially because that room did contain a TV!

+ clean, everything you need in the room (towels, soap cans, soap), friendly staff, free parking, breakfast in the café - unfortunately you cannot use the great community kitchen because there are no pots/ pans/ etc!
