We stayed Christmas night and Boxing Day night as we were visiting relatives in nearby Orpington. After reading bad reviews on here we weren't expecting it to be great. However the room was clean and comfortable, and adequate for the price. Breakfast was well cooked and hot (unlike some reviews) on both mornings. Parking was easy.

Pleasant Surprise

When I checked in I was greeted by John who was very professional, polite and helpful and this first contact set the tone for the rest of my stay which was good. He is a credit to the organisation. Would recommend 

Good stay

Gutted! I stay at this hotel regularly - stayed 7th - 11th December. I live overseas, hired a car with Avis and drove to hotel. Hotel told me ANPR in carpark was not working during my stay, but staff said no problem regarding getting charged - but I was charged by ParkMaven Limited. But because it was a hire car, Avis just paid the fine (2 x GBP 60), then added GBP30 for each fine and charged automatically my card GBP 180! Now the hotel is taking no responsibility, saying I should have appealed, I couldn't appeal because I didn't know I received a fine because it's a hire car - Avis don't send the fines through, they just pay them and recharge without question, that's their policy. What a total waste of money :-( just a lesson that I need to share so others don't fall into same situation. Such a shame as I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel over numerous stays over many years.

GBP 180 pounds parking fine!!!!

Good hotel to stay with family. Everything is fine. And we enjoyed a lot during the trip.Rooms are very clean and well maintained. Thank you for service. Everything is good. Only thing is it's very far from railway station bus connectivity is there at all times.

Good value for money

Clean, comfy and peaceful Room 210 2nd floor, (they do have lifts if you are concerned).

Lovely dinner and great attention to detail re. food allergies.

I badly twisted my ankle and two staff came to my room with the ice I asked for, and additional milk...within minutes !!! They also sent up this sweet note and gave me these biscuits as a little treat.... it's the small things!!

Well done Premier Inn Swanley! Yet again you were AWESOME !!

The staff yet again went over and above to help

Hotel is in a decent location with the added bonus of a beefeater pub on site. Room was fine, really big but not in a good way as it felt empty. The TV kept turning itself on randomly so I had to turn it off on the wall, the remote turned it off but then it came straight back on. Weird. Luckily I didn't have to pay extra for the city view 🤣

I had dinner which was ok, the lady who welcomed me was very pleasant. Breakfast was a different matter. I was on my own and had a table for four pointed out to me, in a completely empty part of the restaurant and then told to help myself and waved her hand in the general area of the food. There was no hot food to be seen so I got a coffee and cereal expecting my order for hot food to be taken at some point. I ate the cereal,drank the coffee and still wasn't asked so I assume there was no hot breakfast on offer. Maybe they were short staffed. 

Expensive breakfast

Good hotel location near Bluewater enticed us to stay there. First impressions good, and Beefeater pub was well priced and reasonable. HOWEVER….terrible nights sleep which I can only put down to lack of between room sound proofing…. Baby’s crying, people shouting, tv playing - you name it, and for most of the night and early morning. Such a shame!

Very noisy night!

Room booked to reduce travel for a meeting the following morning. Room was missing some furniture and looked empty. Noisy guests above - now I appreciate that this isn't Premier Inn's fault but does question the insulation between rooms. Key issue was the breakfast or lack of. Being lied to that 'ovens were not working' being the reason. I'm sorry but a 'full English' can be cooked perfectly well without an oven. This shouts of staff shortage. Offered a £2 refund (the difference between cooked breakfast and continental) but they were missing half the continental as well - sorry £8 for cereal and coffee doesn't wash. Asked for a full refund for the breakfast but still not seen anything, so looks like an email to follow up to arrange that! Premier Inn - there were dozens of hotels in that area we could have chosen - don't let your standards drop as it takes a long time to build client confidence back again. This wasn't one of your cheap £29 per night - this was £85!

Half baked experience - unlike the breakfast

We stayed for a week in Premier Inn in January and we wanted to thank all the staff for making our stay perfect. The room was clean and warm , plenty of parking spaces and the restaurant staff was amazing. Thank you all

Great stay

Was very easy to access, the accommodation was spotless and the staff were great, the free parking was a major plus. The room was very well equipped and the bed was very comfortable, room temp control was a really nice idea, very quiet and relaxing.
