Stayed at tattershall lakes in Esme accommodation 4 night break. on arrival absolutely spotless and location perfect for us our themed home was pink flamingos which was lit up at night and certainly drew attention from other guests. I will definitely return to tattershall and would definitely book the same home. Thanks to all staff who were 100% helpful polite and friendly no matter which department we visited and we did a few pubs swimming amusement shop reception and maintenance. The welcome pack on arrival was amazing fudge biscuits tea coffee sugar milk in fridge Prosecco and rhubarb juice then you got a welcome bag for our fur boy a toy a water bowl a beautiful blanket all in his own bag you also had luxury toiletries and a washing up kit I was overwhelmed as it was a lovely gesture let’s also remember the lovely domestic gods and goddesses who cleaned our home to perfection Lauren Hayley and Katie so thank you all at away resorts for a truly fabulous holiday break. We will return

Esme lodge

A weekend away with friends, the accommodation was spot on but it was just too far out from the main building with the attractions, they really need to put on some kind of free shuttle bus every hour doing a circuit maybe? It’s so badly lit at night and we got lost so the next evening we tried about 5 local taxi companies to get us out into Coningsby for the evening and back but none of them answered or had availability it would deffo put me off going again and can’t be good for the trade of the place or the local area if you can’t get out! The signage on the site awful, whether it’s trying to walk or drive around or just to get out of the site or find your accommodation again after a walk or drive out I’m sure a lot of owners just get used to it but for a group totally new to the area and the site it wasn’t easy to navigate at all. Not one I’ll return too!

Sort the signage out and put on a train or shuttle bus to the guest attractions!

We had a lovely couple of days away.  We booked an indulgent lodge with hot tub. Unfortunately on arrival we were missing the bottle of bubbly and cleaning pack so had to contact guest services who arranged for these to be dropped off around two hours later, rather annoying as these should have been there.  The lodge looked clean, although a dirty cotton bud and a lot of cobwebs were found.  It took us quite a while to work out how to operate the sound system, perhaps an instruction manual would be a good idea. As we were celebrating a birthday we thought it would be nice to visit the pub on the outside of the site not realising that it had been taken over by Away Resorts. It looked closed from the outside.  When we got inside it was pretty empty....no atmosphere and the food was not great.  My daughter specifically chose the chicken chunks from the kids menu as it stated it came with fries, when it arrived with chips she was disappointed. We complained to the waiter who immediately said "oh they come with chips as standard you need to request fries"! Not according to the menu! Anyway they did bring out some fries in the end, but again annoying! I would not recommend visiting the pub, it's not worth the walk and the food is exactly the same as the resort food venues. We were very disappointed.  
We had a great time in the hot tub and will return but we won't visit the pub and will keep our fingers crossed the bubbly will already be in the fridge on arrival.

Oh one more thing, Stacey in the propellor bar was lovely, very friendly and a credit to you. 😊

Birthday break 

Stayed in the Tribeca unit for a long weekend.
Utilised the pool, gym, restaurants and amazing axe throwing with Aiden!

Unit was clean, warm and well maintained, great that the hot tub was ready and checked daily.

Toiletries were included so didn’t bring any but not enough for more than a day, and no bubble bath which would have been a nice touch.

Welcome pack of snacks/ drinks was great so you could have a drink on arrival.

Check out was a bit tricky as we wanted to leave just before 9 and the key drop wasn’t there. Luckily there was a staff member arriving for work at guest services so they took our key.

Every member of staff we came across were warm, welcoming and friendly.  We were wished an enjoyable rest of day by everyone. Excellent customer service!

Friendly staff make the difference!

We booked our trip with a couple of friends through Sykes for my husbands 60th birthday the lodge was lovely in a nice position by the duck lake.  
Unfortunately, we didn't like the park its self at all.  We didn't buy entertainment passes as we didn't want to do watersports or use the children's activities.  Although they say you don't pay for passes if you book direct what they don't say is that that charge more to book direct. Little did we know we couldn't use the bar or restaurants either!  We thought this was ridiculous! Why would we pay for a pass to buy a drink in a bar???  The one pub you could use, just outside the gate didn't allow dogs! 
Therefore we used a wonderful pub in the village called the Fortescue Arms (I will leave them a good review) and nearby Leagate Inn.   Four adults eating and drinking for a week was a lot of money Tattershall's lost out on due to the greed of the totally unreasonable pass system. 
 I booked the park because it was 'dog friendly' what a joke!  Dogs have to be on their leads everywhere. There is nowhere for the dog to have a run and chase a ball.  The cars and golf carts tear around without a care about who is walking along the road,  I was nearly taken out 3 times by cars not taking care or slowing down, how a child doesn't get hit i do not know.  The lighting on the park is totally inadequate,  when walking my dog of an evening I couldn't see where I was going , where his pooh was or where the bins were. For the first time in my life I was nervous as it was so dark everywhere.  
The staff I came across whilst walking the dog didn't even look at me let alone pass the time of day with a good morning greeting the only staff that smiled were the ones on the gate. 
All and all I consider the park to be unwelcoming greedy and not at all dog friendly.  I have stayed on other parks that were 10xs better than this and less expensive.  We definitely  will not be returning or using Away resorts sites ever again. there are much better places to give your money to.

Just got back from our break. We had a private lodge but  Just wanted to say how lovely all the staff were. Really friendly and helpful. In particular a lovely woman by the name of Emma (she had blond hair and glasses) who was working behind the bar. She absolutely made our weekend she is such a credit to the business and even took the time to have a chat with us while she was getting picked up to go home. Her customer service was absolutely brilliant  and she made us want to keep coming back. Top service from a fab member of staff.

Another absolutely fantastic break! Arrived to gorgeous accommodation at 37 Duck Lagoon, spacious, warm, clean and very comfy! So nice we in fact opted for a late checkout and we’re surprised at how reasonable it was to extend until 4pm meaning we had almost an extra day to enjoy the lodge, hot tub and facilities! This wasn’t our first visit and it won’t be our last, we’ve already booked to return in April. 

Every staff member we encountered was friendly and very helpful, we opted for lunch in the spitfire and service was quick and prices are very reasonable. 

It’s also very handy that local takeaways deliver to your accommodation! 😜

Thanks Away resorts for yet another memory making weekend with my family!

Fantastic as always. 

We stayed at Tattershall from Dec 31 - Jan 3. Overall it was a nice new year break. Beautiful location, my kids loved the entertainment (Play Live TV and Family Bingo so fun with a glimpse of Andy!), nice splashzone with no booking list, Spitfire Bar served good food, the staffs were alright (not the friendliest but they were helpful), we tried High Ropes and archery which we loved and the washing facilities were handy. 
However I'm let down by the accommodation. I've booked Comfort Lodge for 6 people. We got Sycamore 6. When we arrived we were happy that it's very close to the main facilities. A small pond outside makes my kids happy. But it felt more like a large caravan to me. I've stayed at caravans and lodges a lot in many different holiday resorts so I know the difference. I don't mind with different decoration or layout but this is very different in term of space. I've attached the photo of what I got and the photos of the website. The master bedroom and the twin rooms are too small for a lodge. Felt like a caravan. The lounge is ok but still like a caravan. I asked the reception if they gave me the wrong accommodation but turn out it is what it is. This is the most disappointing experience with Away Resorts. In 2022 I stayed at Retallack and Sandy Balls and all were very positive experience. Sadly not with Tattershall. I feel a bit cheated and I didn't get what I paid. I paid for a lodge but get a caravan. I was expecting more space like advertised in the photos. My suggestion is to modify the photos based on each location. I believe all the photos across all location are the same. I understand it's only illustration but what I get was completely different. I hope the consider my suggestion because I've recommended Away Resorts to many people I don't want them to be disappointed like me.

Love the location but disappointing lodge (more like a caravan!)

We’ve just got back from a long weekend stay at Tattershall. We stayed in a private lodge which was lovely! And bought passes to access the facilities. The spitfire bar/restaurant - food was nice, nothing spectacular. Had a 45 minute wait on food which wasn’t the best. Didn’t like the fact staff were walking around with coats on seemed a little unprofessional. The propeller bar was ok food too. All the young waiters/ staff were really friendly and good but an middle age lady with glasses and dark hair mainly on front of house was walking round really miserable and spoke very rudely to us. 
Swimming pool facilities were good, only one family changing room though. We booked for the pool but walked through to the splash park as that was what everyone else was doing. 
The spriegeltent was lovely and the kids entertainment and pantomime was great. 
Shame the mini golf was shut on bank holiday Monday, surely handing out golf clubs isn’t much more effort for staff. 
I just found the whole website and booking activities and tables very confusing and unclear. Difficult to see where entertainment was being held. It said you can book 21 days before hand but it wouldn’t let us. Just all very confusing on the website. 
Overall enjoyed our stay but won’t be rushing back, haven resorts are much better and more things for younger kids.

My family and I have never been away from home for Christmas and we chose to do something different this year, which led us to Tattershall Lakes Winterfest.

There were some difficulties initially gathering information for what was and was not available over the Christmas period, and there were certain things which weren't included in the price such as the pantomime or Christmas show, even on asking questions this was not made clear - one reply we had was that all shows are an extra cost, yet when we arrived we found there were non-ticketed events later in the evening. Slightly confusing especially if you have never been away during Christmas before.

Upon arrival we noticed our comfort caravan had been upgraded to a superior which was a lovely surprise - it was clean, so spacious, warm, comfy beds and our dog loved her little gift bag. Such a lovely touch. We left a little thank you for the cleaning staff which we hope they received!

Our caravan was a good 20 minute walk to the main facilities. Not a problem for most of us but we did have a family member with reduced mobility, however it was our fault for not realising how big the site is - it's huge!! Next time we would ask for a closer caravan if possible.

The entertainment in the Speigeltent was amazing. We went every night and were very impressed. The early evening entertainment was mainly family/children focused (we did not have any children with us) but we did watch the pantomime and Christmas show which we enjoyed and then there were singers/bands on from 8pm until 9:30pm when the bar closed. The staff were always very friendly, kind, happy and helpful. 

We were surprised to see we could book swimming on Christmas Day which we weren't expecting, so we had a lovely morning swim. Two of our party also chose to have spa treatments on Christmas Eve which I've been told were bliss.

Overall we were extremely happy with our first ever Christmas break and would definitely go back.
