The staff, and Dave in particular, were very helpful.
Great location near the wonderful city of Sunderland, well worth a visit. We also enjoyed visiting the historic town of Chester-le-Street, and also Durham too. 

Good hotel, great location.

This is an older style Premier Inn, the decor is outdated, needs a goo tidy up and deep clean - general clean too come to think of it. The heating is poor so luckily I had my portable heater to keep me warm in the room. The shower was poor, barely had hot water and there was a shower curtain - which I personally hate. The toilet didn't flush and the TV barely worked - most channels wouldn't work and signal kept cutting in and out. Staff uninterested and not attentive. Wouldn't book again

We stayed overnight as a family of four to visit Beamish over the Christmas period. From the start to finish of our stay, every member of staff we encountered was professional, genuine and incredibly personable with a great work ethic. Nothing was too much! Our youngest son has some food allergies and staff covering breakfast were kind,  professional and attentive and put him (and us) at complete ease. We would love to return! Thank you so much.

Professional and genuine staff who go above and beyond

We  stayed here last weekend as we were going to Beamish Museum.  We had a family room (Double bed, single bed and travel cot). The room was on ground floor. Room was clean and beds were comfy. Breakfast was filling and kept us all full for most of the day. There is a Toby Carvery directly opposite. All the staff we met were lovely. Would stay here again.

Overnight stay

Excellent breakfast, probably the best in the Premier group, served to order from the kitchen. What makes it stand out is the wonderful friendly welcome you get when you go in from Sharon. Top marks to all the hard working staff and Ryan the chef who cooks sausage, bacon and (poached) eggs to perfection. Our favourite breakfast spot in the region.

Stayed here for5 nights the room was clean bed very comfy staff couldn't do enough for you the breakfast was great not to far from everything .Jack in the dining room was excellent at his job thank you .Will be back soon

Great visit

We are never disappointed when ever we stay at Washington Premier Inn its like home from home for us. The staff are amazing and very friendly, nothing is too much trouble for them even when there busy

Fantastic place to stay

Charged twice for the same stay, no refund. Premier Inn Hotel is not as good as it use to be. Having stayed in the Premier Inn for years, the service has gone down hill, rooms are hit and miss. I stay all over the UK, I can see a decline in service.

The booking and check in quick and easy.  The staff were efficient and friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, would definitely stay again.  A really convenient location, our family was travelling from the North and South so really convenient place to meet up.

Honestly couldn’t fault it room was nice and clean, and mornings staff on breakfast was amazing friendly and happy to help they couldn’t have done more was happy to take over toasting some toast so food didn’t go cold I didn’t catch anyones name but they all were fab thank you
